Kalessi is the MVP of Season 3. Freeing slaves, conquering Astapor and Yunkai. Getting the Unsullied army, Second Sons, and ends with her Mhysa moment. Tywin is in honorable mention MVP for winning the War of the 5 Kings.

If I recall correctly. It's been a while lol Also as far as the Jon and Ygritte stuff goes. They have cultural differences that I don't think Ygritte would have ever been ok with if it meant she had to give up her people. She would have been willing to let it all go if Jon was willing to let it all go. But I do not believe that if Jon had taken her, and tried to still be a brother, she would have been okay with that. Sam already was pushing it by bringing Gilly. I doubt that it would have been ok for Jon for several reasons, the least being that it's just not allowed. He is a crow and I think Ygritte's loyalty to her cause is far more of a priority than people think it is because of her affection and love for Jon. She was incredibly hurt. I think she couldn't believe that everything that people said about him was true. It sad because they are both so loyal and committed to their people. Star-crossed shit. I also think that had Ygritte actually wanted to kill Jon she would have.

They are of various races, skin tones, religions, etc....GRRM actually was asked about it in a panel, and he explained the issue: All the Dany scenes are shot in Morocco... Calls for extras are always done just a few days in advance (or even less)... so they called for extras in Morocco and Moroccan ppl showed up lol... so it ends up looking... not great...

It's not really better in the books but you can kind of forget about the iffy implications because you're not visually seeing this white lady being worshipped by all the brown people she just liberated. I don't know. It's obviously not a huge deal but I think George just wasn't really aware of what he was writing here.
