PersonalFunFact: I had a lot of spoilers before starting the show, I didn't know that Amara was Chuck's/God's sister though. From the couple posts I had seen I had assumed she was his wife XD

She didn’t sell her soul when she made the deal with Azazel.. he even told her in the ep where Dean went back in time that he didn’t want her soul and she could keep it… that the deal was only giving him permission to enter her house and go in the nursery. I’m pretty sure she’s been in heaven this whole time.
