2023-09-20 11:43:43 +0000 UTCPush through the love triangle/square/rhombus thingy. It's cringy, but it DOES get put to bed (so to speak) eventually. Korra is an unsocialized 17yo who grew up at the South Pole, and Mako was, IMO, done dirty by the writers with how inept he is at handling relationships. Poor Bolin is just collateral damage. Just...tolerate it, until it goes away.

2023-09-11 01:36:38 +0000 UTCIt can be frustrating but I actually love how "Route 1" Korra is; Her solution to every problem is to just run directly at it. She challenges people, she instigates, she hits as hard as she can as fast as she can every time. This can be frustrating in situations that require restraint but its also sort of liberating, she solves a lot of problems very quickly that Aang would have worried over for days/weeks. Something I think about a lot is how as Avatars, Aang and Korra are sort of well-suited to solve the other's problems - Aang would have thrived in trying to unite benders and non-benders peacefully in this city he built, and Korra would have thrived at using whatever violence necessary to end the 100-year war. It's interesting.
