Happy New Year + Safety

As we say goodbye to 2020, Safety is on most people’s minds and I thank you for that. Most Happy New Year & Holiday posts end with ‘stay safe’.

So, I’m pondering,

Is the era of “Do something that scares you every day“ over?

It is natural to want safety and to live our life without fear no matter your age, political viewpoints or sexual orientation. We all want to keep living well & we want this for the people we love too.

But the thought of doing the right thing, taking risks or making safety a priority seems varied because we also need room to feel our feelings. Feelings of needing connection, or needing space. Sometimes these feelings don’t align with safety and you might end up taking a little risk.

Some people may never have a desire to play the game of chance. They are wired to rarely endanger themselves.

My point is because our fight, flight, freeze response is triggered by so many different things we never know what someone else is going through internally at any moment - I am including myself here.

How often do I act or say something and realize why I am so triggered?

Holidays & Wintertime is often challenging so let’s all please tend lovingly to our own mental, physical & spiritual health as we move into a new year that gives us no guarantee that we are leaving anything behind.

We are a powerful life force - The Qi (chi) that flows in the Living is absolutely abundant!! And will continue to be so where you direct your Right Mind will be where the life force will go. Fill your conscious thoughts with Abundance and Right Action will follow.

May we all be connected thru LOVE, The Dao, Qi, The Force, Shiva and Shakti’s love dance.... however you name it or feel it.

I vow to steward this precious Life.
