Status Update!

Hi everyone, status update in the middle of the month!

From experience that is usually a very bad sign. In this particular case, it isn’t. Quite the opposite.

But let’s take a look at where we stand.

Writing
About 30% of the text is proofread. I think I will manage the rest on the weekend, however the text is generally already in good shape.

Rendering
Almost everything is final. Some single renders we want to exchange still and we want to improve on Scene 25 (The one with the apes). I think we have about 900 high quality renders at this point.

I’d say almost final as well

Trailer
We are currently working on a trailer, but that one will take longer and won’t be finished next week either.

Phone
We have put a phone in, with inspiration from a lot of devs, a custom design that we decided to adjust and sharpen up. A lot of functionality is still missing, we have some pretty neat plans for this one. But the basics are already in there, even if a lot is still subject to change.

The phone will be continued to be worked on, not just next week. With time you can get different backgrounds, cases etc. 

Savegames
It will not work! And I mean not only last version to this one, but also the next version. We are still figuring some stuff out in regards to stats and core mechanics, that will break the save's for the moment. I will add savegames for the chapter 2 release, for both the good and the bad path. 

Discord bots
For those who have not yet seen it, discord bots are down. We will upload them again, after maintenance. Right now the game was focused. But afterwards you can farm extra case designs, backgrounds for the game and additional secret renders there. But this will take a while. However you as patron have something like a cheat with the bots, extra earnings!

Patreon Page
Don’t get scared if the page changes in the next days/weeks daily. We are currently sharpening it up! 

Release
So we decided to make a release today for the beta version. Only for Tier 2 and above. However good news for Tier 1 patrons, while I’ve long announced that going forward we’ll not share it with Tier 1, as it’s not in the subscriptions.

You are all early supporters and for that I am very grateful. It’s a hard balance to show higher tiers their deserved appreciation, especially if there are not substantial benefits for the tier yet and giving those that subscribe as much as possible.

That is why, this release tonight is for higher Tier patrons, but the final release, I assume next week, will also be open for Tier 1 patrons! 

Anyway full chapter tonight, some improvements coming next week. Trailer coming later. This was made past midnight, so if you find errors, keep them.
