In more behind the scenes commentary, I'm still experimenting with ink splatters. I think they're fun to do and I like the texture they give, but since I didn't use it throughout the entire comic I think it's throwing some people off. But, I suppose that's what you get with a long running comic. I never went into this comic with a specific style in mind... which is maybe obvious with the addition of color at chapter 3. The splatters are a design choice I enjoy doing though. Maybe when I get a book pulled together I can add in some splatters to really old pages to just give it more of a consistent feeling throughout.

Splatters add nice texture, and the red ones could serve for foreshadowing as well.
