New Year 2024 and Cat Pics

WHAT'S THIS?? Revity actually posting twice within 6 months??

Happy new year everyone!! I hope this coming year brings a lot of happiness and prosperity for you all. This is the Year of the Dragon, which is the year I was born in, so I'm looking forward to what this year will bring.

I've no doubt that you all know about my turbulent life recently. I moved out about two months ago, away from my mom. I'm still trying to get a job in my field (since the comp sci job market is fucked), but there is good news. While I'm job searching for my full time job, I got a part time job to cover the bills and make some extra money! I'm starting this job very soon and I hope it goes well for me. While this will not be my forever job, I'm looking forward to starting!

With my personal life, you may see that I have some cat pics! This is actually not my cat; he's my roommate's cat. However, he's fallen in love with me and he's effectively declared himself my cat. I have admittedly really wanted a cat, so getting to take care of this cat has been lovely! His name is Leo and he enjoys cuddles and receiving attention. Recently, Leo has taken to sitting in my lap for hours at a time to nap while I work on my computer. My legs have been suffering but it's a small price to pay.
