Hisoka said earlier that he just wants his license to not get in trouble for murder. Currently all the applicants are “hunting” for their license. Anything, regardless of morals and ethics can be on the table to achieve that goal.

2025-02-06 18:41:09 +0000 UTCPretty much all we know about the Hunter’s Association at this point in that the main character’s father abandoned him to become one- and their tests kill a LOT of people. When I was watching for the first time I felt like the Association had NO moral alignment and is more a place for selfish people to pursue their own desires and occasionally help people while doing it.

After enough time studying film and TV, you can pick up on similar themes and story beats from show to show even if youve never seen them before. Like after watching Star wars the first time, you'd be able to see a "the villain is secretly the heroes father" twist coming much easier

(For example, as much as I've stated in the past I would wanna see a Naruto reaction...I stopped asking bc I remembered how much I LOATH the dub for it lmao)

But he is so stupid and cartoonishly evil that I just get a huge laugh put of everything he does. He plays childrens games when they're all surrounded by death and misery. Also, despite being overweight and clearly not the strongest, he would still demolish any normal person in their world or ours. The man runs 100 miles through the swamp with no issues while paying more attention to the other people

Like if you think about regulatory bodies its closer to the philosophy of say a police union or a real estate board than it is to say a physician board.

I just can't get into watching them (I don't know why) So I'm glad to have a reactor to watch in english. Plus a lot of the VAs do great work.
