He’s bought a fancy house, an entire range of top-end consumer cyberware. He’s done everything he could to make money and escape his past circumstances. That’s the thing about capitalism, to escape its worst, most coercive effects you have to engage with it harder and in more ruthless fashion than those around you. Every big Merc of Night City legend felt the same way, that they were special, faster, stronger, a better shot. But the city gets them every time and all that’s left is maybe a drink named after them in Afterlife.

Top-of-the-line even by Sandevistan standards, it’s the fastest and most versatile model available. In the game it’s typified by a unique perk, instead of activating and draining the super-speed duration all at once (for example activating and then having say, fifteen seconds of continuous slowdown before a recharge time), you can switch it on and off at will, draining a gauge that recharges quickly when it’s off. This makes it a far more powerful and useful combat ability than other models. If you spec into perks that give you cyberware recharge on kills, you can essentially use it without limit as long as you keep the streak going.

Then they had to end like this... So I was like "fine...one more episode" and rolled into 9... then 10. Then I went to YouTube and discovered the music video had just been released that same day. It was great times.

This is one you wanna go in blind, at least fir the first episode, trust me. 2) The opening and closing songs are both in English and sung by non-Japanese bands (YUNGBLUD and OneRepublic). I dunno if that'll make copyright harder or not, but I figured I should tell you.
