Rewatching and I just noticed, in the basement scenes with Gus and Hunter, hanging on the wall next to the sewing machine is the dress Luz wore for the Romeo & Juliet audition, with a big stain on the front.

It's like the last season of She-ra and the main characters of Avatar the Last Airbender (ATLA) mixed together, and is just hilarious! It's made by the same people that made Korra! It's such a classic and I think both of you guys would absolutely adore it. It has darker themes at points and lighter themes on others and the main cast are so incredibly adorable. It's a very balanced show that I am 100% sure you will enjoy! Also, this Owl House adventure was amazing. Its really sad that it'll be finished soon. Hope you guys enjoyed the show!

The development of every character in the human realm is amazing and we get to see more of Camila and Luz and the scene of camila feeling like she is drowning is just amazing. Can’t wait for more!!!

I think its fair to call a grim walker a magic clone. We don't know if he's a magic clone of Caleb or his son and whether the ears are just some modification to Caleb or not.

The show doesn't explicitly say why Belos wanted to go back, but I think it's clear that the Draining Spell failed and logically he'd still want to kill the witches. Sure, he did finally get to go back to the Human Realm, but that was never going to be enough for him. Even if he DID succeed originally and killed everyone, Philip Wittebane would be dissatisfied with the Human Realm. There's no witch hunters to praise him anymore, and even though it was a ploy by Luz she was right saying he'd need help adapting to modern day. So he's back home, his endgame unfulfilled, with a rotting body and only himself as company. If we as regular people hate being alone with our thoughts imagine how a delusional POS like Belos must hate it even more xD His whole life has basically been the extension of a silly childhood game, and in his current state he's the loser. The greatest witch hunter to ever live, resorted to absorbing animal carcasses to sustain his melting body. Even though he claims to detest the Boiling Isles, he needs that place to give him purpose, to keep his game (delusion/fantasy) going. It actually draws interesting parallels to the Collector doesn't it? But as long as there are witches alive on the Boiling Isles, he's going to keep going back and fighting to destroy it, because he's nothing without that. He'll never let it go because he Can't. Also since it's not really a spoiler, the old house in the Human Realm probably belonged to the Wittebanes. Dana Terrace talked about that in a live stream, I believe. Anyway sorry for the length of this, can't wait for next week!

2023-07-03 22:59:05 +0000 UTCno no. the villain's name in this show is philip and that's it. and his and luz enmity is amazingly portrayed, developed and executed. you'll see. also, camila's parallel arc to luz, with how societal conventions and norms slowly put pressure on her and how she brought up her child, is amazingly done for how little time they had to present it to us.

So far we have bisexual Luz, lesbian Amity and 3 canon non binary characters! There is also more confirmations of all the main cast's sexualities that was confirmed after the series ended but we can go into that later;)

If you look at that scene again hunter was struggling to come up with a name and flackjack "spoke" to him and then he said caleb. During eclipse lake at the end, hunter is able to communicate with Flapjack and thats when Flapjack tells hunter his name, he was Caleb's palisman. Also, I don't think you guys noticed this but when flapjack gave hunter his life force, hunters eyes turned to brown, the color of flapjacks eyes. Hunters natural eye color was a darkish pink.

He is a grimwalker, which means he was not born but created from the ingredients of a spell, hence the pointy ears. He does have some biological markers of Caleb because bone of the one you want to create is part of the spell. I also want to mention though that there is a descendant of Caleb and Evelyn out there because in one of the memories of Belos you see Caleb walking and holding hands with a pregnant woman. I have heard some say they think Eda could be a descendant of them, but I don't know that it has ever been confirmed. However, Hunter is not a relative/descendant, he is a creature created by magic.

You might not have noticed, but he said “goodbye Evelyn” who according to the one kid, is the witch that took Caleb away from Philip. He seems to see this witch as the reason that both Caleb and Hunter left his side.

2023-07-03 18:26:52 +0000 UTCRemember what Belos said just as it went to the shadow shot: "Goodbye Evelyn" -- and as we learned in the hayride, Evelyn was the name of the witch Caleb fell in love with. Or, from Phillip's point of view, seduced his brother away from the righteous path. Flapjack was the last part of (or direct connection to) Evelyn, so all of his hatred went into destroying that last remnant.
