Well so was Siblings bond? There's 7 Demon Slayer Movies and 3 had theatrical releases. I'd rather go by UFOtable than Crunchyroll a company that buys the series. They Air S1, S2, S3 and finished S4 on TV in Japan and announced a 5th season. Crunchy putting 8 episodes of S2 in with S3 and calling it S2 is their dumb marketing but Mugen and Entertainment are different seasons with different production schedules just like Swordsmith and Hashira.

You haven't heard her talk as a demon. Same thing here in this episode; that's her internal voice. That's an actual thing with her, that she *hasn't* spoken since being turned into a demon. Almost as if she's lost that ability or regressed mentally in some way. Edit: Maybe you've read it when I wrote about this before, in another comment, and this was recorded before that. Or maybe you do distinguish between her external (actually speaking) and internal voice (thinking to herself, or "speaking" to Tanjiro mentally). My apologies if either (or both) of those possibilities is the case. Just want you to go forward with the correct details in mind.

But it is what it is. I assume when it ends 3 will be considered not canon since it's just the ending but early lol. (Tho knowing the end, it does make sense for the series as a whole, i like the idea.)

B) looking it up, TECHNICALLY they ARE canon due to them using tidbits from either the manga, side stories, even interviews with the author, etc. They're just more like, "isolated incidents" (case in point your reference to the end of the 3rd movie)

Really spoils the series as a whole to use that in a movie then call it not canon. Honest wondering, don't follow MHA community are they loved?

(Like I'm guessing kenny has at least seen kung fu panda since he had brought up jk Simmons voicing kai) But in the off chance they haven't, that would be such a fun reaction for them! Someone else already clarified, but inosuke IS a legit slayer (having completed final selection) I can't wait until y'all cover Mugen train and the future seasons in general. On a random side note...if y'all are considering doing the movie, will y'all also be doing the MHA movies? What about other movies? (I know you mentioned kung fu panda before, or if one or both of you haven't seen the "how to train your dragon" series, which are among my FAVORITE animated movies)

Inosuke IS actually a demon slayer, he completed Final Selection like the others but just took off before everyone else gathered to select their sword material (presumably because he already had his own which he stole). At least one reason Nezuko doesn't speak is simply because she is gagged. Whatever else may be going on is up for debate, but by all indications demons are just as capable of speech on the whole as humans (with rare exceptions such as the spider family father). From a story telling perspective, I personally love the way they handled Tanjiro's fight with Rui. For starters, it was just epic AF. But I really enjoy that it makes this enemy truly terrifying. Literally after years of grueling and intense training, while our protagonists have grown by unimaginable levels, there's still a massive gap in power that exists between someone like Tanjiro and even the weakest of the Twelve Kizuki and reinforces the idea that the Hashira are simply on an entirely different level when it comes to strength, skill, and drive. It also tells us that, as epic as that fight was, it's only going to get bigger from here… 😉 Basically, I think it's just a great subversion of expectant that the MC DOESN'T simply show up to fight the big bad and, by just trying really hard, save the day no matter what. Some dangers are simply too big. Some fights can only be won with the help of others (a theme worth looking for in the series as you continue). At any rate, SO excited for you guys to continue this series! I don't comment much, but have been watching since the early ATLA TikTok days and it's truly heartwarming to see the success you two have found with this reaction channel.
