2023-06-19 04:10:15 +0000 UTCWhy would that be the best way? 2x1 is a prequel to Mugen Train chronologically anyway. It is the logical choice to watch that episode before the movie as it introduces you to Kyojuro and sets the stage for the movie.

2023-06-17 10:38:44 +0000 UTCYeah, honestly, all t hat matters is that you skip the recapped episodes AND watch the movie. The movie is goated, and episode 1 is more or less a "Here's more!" type if fillers, but does add a teeny bit to the character that is Rengoku.

2023-06-16 16:27:25 +0000 UTCIt was really nice to see 2x1 so long after seeing the movie as a prequel to the movie but I think if I was watching for the first time now I'd watch 2x1 first, then the movie, then the next arc (2x8 and on). The nostalgia feeling of watching 2x1 after the movie wouldn't be the same without the long wait I think.

2023-06-16 14:49:09 +0000 UTCJust a suggestion moving forward. In the crunchyroll settings, there's a setting that allows closed captions to be displayed. For example if a Name of a character appears on screen as an introduction, you would be able to tell what its saying. It not quite like subtitles and only appears when something like that comes up. Just saying because they might be useful in later episodes
