Damn, Kenny has seen Naruto? That wouldve been a hell of a journey. Im amazed he didn't know to sympathize with this arcs villain when Naruto is literally all about sympathizing with your enemy. The demons are essentially junkies preyed upon by Muzan if that helps humanize them

2023-06-13 04:01:00 +0000 UTCfor the most part(with few exceptions) the demons that were turned were turned at times of desperation/near death. some of them were children, and their human selves aren't really responsible for wht they do as demons since they get overwritten by the demon personality.

2023-06-10 21:14:59 +0000 UTCJust to clarify (or nitpick) a minor detail, Nezuko has never spoken so far. What you mistook as speech when she cast the blood art was internal dialogue, like Tanjiro and others do at times. She had the muzzle on but still "spoke" very clearly.

Also I do have sympathy for demons like Rui, because it was made clear by the big hand demon earlier in the season that demons forget their humanity when they turn, they forget who they were, and what's in control is basically not who they truly are. He was a sickly child who wasn't old enough to understand the consequences of his choice. manipulated by an adult. That said not all demons we come across have sympathetic back stories, some were as psychopathic in their humanity as in their demon lives. Can't wait for you guys to see more.

Remember back when Tanjiro passed the exam it cut to the master saying he'd gained 5 more children, referring to those who'd just passed the exam, even though we only see 4 people. Zenitsu later confirms Inosuke was the 5th, he'd just rushed to the finish line, picked the metal for his sword, and left before the rest of them arrived. Beating up that random demon slayer on his mountain was just how he ended up with a second sword. <3
