An important point of contention; Suzaku’s approach to changing the world is not “nonviolent.” He is a soldier of Imperial fascism, and his actual plan is to explicitly pursue personal power until he is in a position to force a “peaceful” solution. I’m a student of political science and there’s been a good amount written about this show in my field. Regarding Suzaku, I read an article about how he’s pursuing the German fascist ideal of the “ubermenche” (not originally a fascist concept, but co-opted by the nazis). He plans to become the most skilled, powerful, and indispensable warrior in the Empire, capable of ending conflict through overwhelming personal force of will. Suzaku uses state-sanctioned, oppressive violence in contrast with Lelouch’s guerrilla, liberating violence. His power is as an individual warrior contrasted with Lelouch and his rebellion’s collective power. These contrasts will only grow stronger as the series goes on.

Euphemia and Cornelia aren't 3rd and 2nd in line, they're 3rd and 2nd princesses. Guinevere is first princess, meaning she's the oldest of the princesses. Odysseus is first prince, and first in line to the throne. Lelouch is 11th prince, and 17th in line to the throne, probably meaning that inheritance is based strictly on age, with no preference on gender. Cornelia is 3rd in line to the throne, since Odysseus and Guinevere are both older. The weird thing though is that Euphemia is younger than Lelouch, so you would assume that she's below him in the line of inheritance. But if Lelouch has 10 older brothers and two older sisters, you'd think he was 13 in line. That he's 17th must mean that his mother being of common birth brought him down a few spots.

Most of the royalty are the sons and daughters of Britannia's king. thus their last name all being li, vi, or zi "Britannia" making them all half siblings. So far you've met Euphie(3rd in line to the throne) Cornelia(2nd in line I simp as well), Clovis(shot dead) and Lelouch(17 in line) and his Sister Nunnally( 87th in line). Yes there are a lot of them).

I don't know if you guys have made this comparison yet but if Lelouch = Light that means C2 = Ryuk. Also with the girl marking the wall everyday, Lelouch's power works more or less like how the death note worked when writing down specific instructions. He probably instructed that girl to mark the wall everyday at a specific time so at that time she falls under the effect of the geass. And the reason he said oh is she doing it again, is because he doesn't need to be there when she is he can just look at the wall whenever and see if the number of marks is still increasing to know if it's working.

This episode is great for contrasting Lelouch and Suzaku's philosophies. I love how C.C. is completely unconcerned with Lelouch's cover. Girl is going "I live here now, gimme pizza". Euphemia is a cinnamon roll and must be protected. And for Cornelia... simping goes beyond the bounds of ethics. She bad, but she hot!
