In the series Kallen uses the excuse that she's "sickly" so to still follow the "all students must join a club" guideline the school put her on the less labor inducing club that will also still look good on her transcripts

I mean I have no gripes with mentioning it as I said it's a small detail but figured I'd speak anyway cause I didn't love when Letts knew big AOT eps were coming cause ppl kept saying wait for next one, wait till S2 etc. But it's tough to not mention stuff when you know everything honestly I had to check when you commented cause I thought oh maybe it was cut from letts but in the ep haha, I don't remember the show insanely well myself so I'm enjoying watching along!

To your point he was waiting and after graduation and getting work in the military or something I think he'd have tried a long con way of getting in power to change the world. I think the Geass given to him allowed him to achieve his goals but in my view he would have eventually tried. Else he could have followed his childhood friends path but he entered a prestigious school and seems to excel, is on the council etc. I do wonder how things would have played out had he never received geass and how he'd try and "win" or maybe he'd have been satisfied making a gentle world for his sister in their own little place and left the rest of the world alone. Who knows aha

Great character progression on the beach smh. It's not the worst fan service. But it could have been steamed over or she could have been in a towel or etc so ya defs fan service.

Because yeah in this case it shows Lelouch thinks ahead and how easily Kallen is ready to resort to threats to protect her double life.

That being said, Montana and I def see the "fan service" in this show as more well done than other fan service we have encountered thus far. Feels less unrealistic and random and more woven into the story
