Kahlea Gameplay | ETHEREAL

Happy New Year!!!

We are excited to announce the addition of a new character, Kahlea, to Ethereal. We can't wait for you all to see how she fits into the cast of characters and adds a new dynamic to the game. While she is still in the early stages of refinement, we love the feel and style she brings.

Kahlea brings unique abilities and skills that will add a new level of depth to the game. Below, we've included some general information about her abilities to give you some context when playing with or against her.

GIFT OF THE FAE (Passive): Upon maxing an ability, that ability becomes empowered. When all abilities are maxed, Kahlea gains a % Magical Power permanently.

PLAYFUL TENDENCIES (RMB): Kahlea dashes a short distance in the direction she is moving. Subsequent casts of this ability within 8 seconds have its mana cost doubled, up to 4 times.   When maxed, this ability grants a decaying movement speed buff for 2 seconds on the ability cast.

ARCANE ORB (Q): Cast an orb of fire that travels forward and explodes when it reaches max range or collides with an enemy Myth dealing Magic Damage to all enemies in an area.   When maxed, hitting an enemy Myth with this ability restores missing Mana.

SPIRITS IGNITE (E): Summon 2 parallel paths of Spirit Embers that last for several seconds. Enemies that walk into the embers take Magical Damage and reduce the cooldown on Spirits Ignite.   When maxed, enemy Myths that detonate the embers have their Magic Resist reduced, stacking up to 6 times. (Reduction applies before damage is dealt from the Ember)

PILLAR OF FIRE (R): Summon a pillar of mystical fire to erupt from the ground dealing Magical Damage and Slowing enemies hit.  When maxed, enemies are knocked up and away from the center of the eruption.

FIRE FROM HEAVEN (ULTIMATE): Kahlea sprouts 9 tails and dashes upwards charging an arcane fireball for up to 2 seconds to gain bonus range. Upon reactivation or after 3 seconds, she throws the fireball at a target location dealing Magical Damage to all enemies hit. When maxed, the cast range is increased by an additional 50%.
