Happy new year! and new year's resolutions

Happy new year everyone =^.^=

Thank you so much for the support during all this year which allows me to continue making what i love the most <3 Gosh i can't be grateful enough just thinking how much i hated my job before i decided to completely focus on patreon and how misserable it made me feel. It's been a long ride, I've gotten good, and thanks to you guys i can continue making what i love the most.

But... that's not enough for me. during this last months i've been kinda struggling to post more regularly you've probabbly noticed that. mostly because making loops is starting to feel extra boring (Don't panic) mostly, because making stuff like this:

Takes me less than 2 hours. then make a couple animation layers in another 2 hours to make the animation look longer and feel less repetitive and done? Nah.

So my new year resolution is to learn animation. yeah you heard that right. learn animation. I'm gonna study animation the way it's meant to be done. will most likely either buy the "animator's survival kit" book or look for some lessons. because being self taught is ok to a certain extent, but i don't know how to get better and i wanna keep improoving.
"I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was" xD

So why studying animation when loops are Ok-ish? because i wanna make longer stuff, i wanna make that tifa series and many others i have in mind, but i wanna be able to animate them as a moovie, without having to use cheap tricks like different camera angles or black screeens to hide stuff i couldn't animate. which is the main reason i haven't continued those series i just didn't felt capable of doing them right.
