Patreon Adding Sales Taxes
Added 2020-06-29 18:02:14 +0000 UTCIt looks like Patreon is adding sales tax to tiers, and the tax will reflect where you live (if the area you live has a higher sales tax, that'll be reflected in the tiers.
I'm currently switching all the tiers to 'donation only' and will be retooling them- this means you shouldn't be taxed when the changes go through.
If I owe you physical rewards like caps and posters, please tell me so I can get these sent out to you! I'm mostly concerned because the sales tax would make sense if you were getting physical goods from me monthly, but it's only intended to be a one time thing.
