We had a flash flood yesterday and it made its merry way to the house. The worst thing about it was the fact the rain water was mixed with sewage because there was just far too much rain for the stream to cope. I didn't realise this when I charged into the thigh deep water to check on my neighbours. =/
We've managed to borrow a dehumidifier that'll hopefully fix the issue with damp floors and cupboards. If not, we do thankfully have insurance. Just don't really want to rip out the entire kitchen because of this.

Good thing with the insurance. Good luck that it won't be needed too much! Also love how you use colours, especially for the background/surroundings. So interesting.
