Portrait of a patron's dog as a medieval demon
Added 2025-08-05 21:31:24 +0000 UTCCreated for generous patron J. - a beloved pet dog turned into a medieval demon with eyes all over.
The overall look was inspired by these old depictions of demons - with unnatural eyes, faces, and claws all over their bodies.
I created the initial sketch with rough pencils - which by itself looked really cool. It was approved almost immediately, and I moved on to the final drawing.

Final line-art composition. The tail had a smaller "face", which I shrank and blended in.
Screentones added in.
Finally, colour, with unnatural reds and greens hinting at the little rascal's demonic nature.
The demon dog thus joins the HUGE ranks of cats, dogs, and other pets which I have creatively distorted over the past years as commissions. If you want outlandish renditions of your cute pets, you only have to let me know :)
