Fairy Ring Colored
Added 2016-10-30 13:48:32 +0000 UTCEarlier you got a post featuring the process of how the lineart and base were done for this artwork, and here comes the second part finishing the picture. x3Like mentioned before, the theme of this picture is a ring of mushrooms, called "the Fairy Ring." Funny thing is, certain mushroom species actually do grow out in this pretty much perfect circle formation. Elli found a piece of mythology from the medieval English believes, where it is believed that where elves dance, they burn a ring into the ground they dance upon, and so Elli got this idea for us to draw for Halloween. There's many other beliefs from different cultures referring to this natural phenomenon and plenty of information to read. We hope you've had/will have some amazing spooky holidays!Related posts:
