Or, as known to some, Squirrel.
As much as I love Jack and Omar, there isn't a single character I've been as involved with as Victoria Loksley. She has a very colourful history which involves a guild called The Gutter Runners on Argent Dawn (WoW). She's in fact, a mix of two different roleplay characters.
The first one is her namesake, Ellie Loksley. Played by one of the old Runners GM's, also the same person who does all Tistow's script checks and proofreading. Loksley in WoW was a ganger, right nasty piece of work. Extremely well played and had a huge impact on the character that follows.
Squirrel (real name Victoria Turner) was my roleplay character, a naive urchin who Loksley took under her wing. She grew up into a tough woman over the years, but still could never quite reach Loksley's skill level in leadership.
We wanted to include features from both characters in Tistow's Loksley. We felt that Ellie's character was too cold and unlikeable to the reader, and Squirrel simply wasn't experienced or believable enough to be the director of her own company or a leader of a notorious stevedore gang.
So what we got in the end, is our main antagonist, Victoria Loksley. Slightly more compassionate, cunning and strong willed woman who knows exactly what she wants and how to get it. She's also the only woman in the story to wear trousers (who isn't trying to pass as a boy or a man).
I'm very keen to show you more of her and how she fits into the story.
