Added 2021-04-19 15:39:19 +0000 UTCSo I have to replace almost every thing- motherboard, processor, graphics card, monitor, RAM.
But hopefully I can manage to salvage the data as my hard drive seems to be undamaged. But I cant be sure that its working okay until I connect it to new parts and get it up and running.
Keeping my fingers crossed for data recovery.
I have already ordered the parts and am now waiting for them to arrive.

2021-04-21 14:36:46 +0000 UTCSorry to hear, I just had a motherboard die on me and had to replace everything except the case, graphics, and drives (I also replaced the PSU just in case). Was it a lightning strike? I can't imagine anything else that could also take out a monitor. :(

2021-04-20 22:56:42 +0000 UTCGood luck! After suffering a hard-drive failure, I always back up my most important work (I'm a writer) on an external drive and in GoogleDocs. You might consider backing up everything you work on that way, to avoid the stress, anxiety and heartbreak of losing work. :) I hope everything works out for you and we all will, of course, be here when you're able to come back. I love your mods and I know everyone else does too. :)
