OBS Studio 29.1 is out! And new rollout system.

Just wanted to let everyone know that 29.1 is out as well as a minor hotfix (29.1.1) to clear up a couple bugs we noticed on release.

If you didn't notice that 29.1 is out yet and you haven't had any update notices in the program, that's because we now have a rollout system (at least on Windows) to minimize the impact of any potential release bugs. I've been pretty happy with it and it certainly makes releases much less stressful for everyone. We started with around 1% release rollout and noticed some bugs, so we just kept the rollout down to get a hotfix out.

Hey Jim, no worries, all good. The issue was reported in the Discord; I'm not sure if an issue report was filed for it, but it was confirmed that this is an issue for several folks that updated. The fix for now was to just roll back to the previous version. --- There was no other fix; the explanations given were - no offense and all - a little discouraging. It was said that this feature (which had been present for several years now) was never _intended_ to be present on Intel Macs, so that made it sound like there was little motivation to fix it. I don't want to read too much into it, folks on Discord have been super supportive, but again, it was a little discouraging. Hi Oliver, sorry I didn't see your message sooner. I wasn't aware there was an issue with hardware h264 encoding on Intel Macs. Is there an issue report for this? The first thing that would be ideal to do is to check with our support channel on our Discord with a log file to make sure it's not something trivial, such as a bad setting that is causing it to fail for example. If neither the Discord nor forums help, would you be willing to file an issue report with a log file attached to it so we can take a look at it? And of course you're always free to do that regardless if you wish.

Does the hotfix (29.1.1) solve the issue with Intel Mac devices that weren't able to use hardware encoding (h264) in 29.1? :-)
