1000% agree. Absolutely breathtaking work!

Fury Roll

The Echo-Jinx fight is pinnacle work. One of the most beautiful fight scenes I have watched. Pure visual storytelling- Echo and Jinx as opposing forces, in a struggle for survival of their tribes. Echo and Jinx as kids playing as children. They bridge the past, the present, while giving you a realistic reason why the fight for the future. Music that makes it epic fun, but with deep dark undertones. Huge stakes. One of the coolest scenes in this series.

A few thoughts on this episode: I have no proof, but I feel like Ekko has tried to reach out to Jinx a few times over the years. I believe this is why he is so convinced that she is unreachable and why Jinx contemptously calls him "the boy savior". When Jinx confronts Silco this episode, she is actually acting a lot like he does during his confrontation with the chem barons. While he is manipulative as always, I think Silco does believe he is protecting Jinx from Vi. He sees Jinx as "perfect". He's worried Vi might come in, screw everything up, then leave Jinx again worse off than before. I don't think it ever occurs to him that someone else might be better for Jinx. On the bridge, Jinx hums the same song Powder sang in the very first scene of the series. Jinx has been tinkering with the mechanical butterflies since she stole some during her Progress Day attack. Now we get to see why. Notice that all the butterfly bombs land on the enforcers guns. The fact that Caitlyn traded her gun away to save Vi's life probably saved her own.

I think Vi left Jinx on the bridge because, ever since she got back to the undercity, everyone has been telling her that Powder has changed and is now Jinx. Sevika even told Vi, "she is like his daughter," talking about Silco. When Vi first sees Powder again, there's a fight with the Firelights, and she sees Powder, now Jinx, shooting at people from the undercity and actually enjoying it. Later, when Vi meets Ekko, someone she really trusts, he tells her that Powder is gone and Jinx is working for Silco. Then, on the bridge, everything goes crazy. Jinx's bombs kill the enforcers, injures Caitlyn, who Vi is starting to have feelings for, and Jinx even shoots at Vi and Caitlyn. At that moment, Vi starts to believe what everyone has been saying about her sister. Whether it's right or wrong, she decides to walk away, just like she did in episode 3.
