Absolutely LOVED Andor and can't wait for Season 2 :) Completely agree that the 'grit' is what makes Andor (and Rogue One) so good.

2024-07-20 14:44:14 +0000 UTCIt's been a very long time since I watched Fringe. And as much as I remember the big stuff, I realize I forgot a lot of details. So it's great to have these reactions as a reason to watch it again. Also, +1 for Andor! Such a great show. I'm not a big fan of Star wars and I think neither is Tony Gilroy. And I think that's why it works so well. That's exactly how I'd have approach it too, as a very grounded/immersive and gritty view of this universe.

2024-07-20 02:24:19 +0000 UTCOh yeah! I also want to mention.. the pictures between the various acts in each episode, (the 6-fingered hand, the apple, etc.) are a cypher... These symbols also show up within certain scenes (like the Leaf on the keypad in the Massive Dynamic lab)

I'm curious what you think, now that we know John Scott was doing his own investigations into the Pattern, about the whole "Ask yourself why Broyles sent you" thing. If John wasn't the antagonist, but helping in his own way, does the motive behind that statement change?? I think in terms of plot hooks or buoys, it'll be helpful to remember the "monster of the week" format. Info about the core cast will always be on the table, but maybe not so much of the Fringe case of the week.
