Mid Year UPDATES!

-ADDED TO THE $2+ TIER - WE NOW HAVE A DISCORD! The response from you all about this feature was so positive, so here we are! In the future this is how I will post behind the scenes photos so that we aren’t sending you too many emails. We’ll be celebrating new patrons, introducing ourselves, having deep discussions, and regular interaction every day! I’m very excited to build our little community over there and allow everyone to talk to each other more easily! If you are unfamiliar with Discord it is very simple and easy to view. When you join the server you can simply create an account to be able to view the discussion and participate!
-We are UPGRADING $5+ livestreams! Instead of the simple ones I’ve been doing, I have integrated my streaming so that I can play mixed music both live and with tracks, so each stream will be a mini CONCERT/demo sharing session/Q&A! If I’m traveling way too much I may do an exclusive cover instead, but my hope is to consistently be live with you all. And you can make suggestions on Discord!
-For the first time, I am “unpublishing” a tier. Everyone who is currently at $1 will continue to enjoy our Patreon fam as they always have. Going forward, the minimum tier going will be $2 for new patrons. Everyone currently at $1: you may continue to pledge $1 and your experience with me won’t change at all. You are a HUGE part of my Patreon both financially and culturally. I made the change to $2 represent the 2 worlds I’m navigating: YouTube and original music. My hope is that in tandem with the upgrades to the lower tiers I’ll be able to provide more value to as many people as possible!
-I’ve been on Patreon for 5 years as of this month!! And I am SO SO grateful to all it has brought me. Genuinely I would not still be doing this had my patrons not been so supportive from the beginning. So I am making a little “Patreon Hall of Fame” to celebrate those who have been with me the longest, so if you happen to be one of those people, expect a lil something sometime soon ;). And we will induct new members into the Hall of Fame every year! We will celebrate everyone on Discord soon.
THANK YOU ALL for being the engine behind all of my creative endeavors for the past 5 years. Here’s to 5 more. I am so thrilled to have you all on my team, and can’t wait to chat with you all on Discord!

2019-07-15 16:18:35 +0000 UTCBest to mute all discord notifications except @mentions and maybe @everyone/@here. It's not the sort of place you "get notified" if someone comes on. It's a chat server, people contribute/reply when they have time to be on, you don't wait around for someone to come on before you say something. You say what you want in your own time and everyone else does the same - if it's a busy server/channel, that will be in real time with whoever is on at the same time

Will you let us know when you’ll be on, so my phone doesn’t blow up with 40 notifications about comments on the channel? I thought it would notify when you are on, which I want to try to be on for, but got a bit overwhelmed by all the chat notifications. I appreciate any guidance, so I don’t miss the good stuff in this new-to-me format. :)
