OK, so. I almost wish this wasn't true, but my wife and I flew to London from California last weekend, especially to see a Christmas concert with John Rutter and Bob Chilcott. Which was great, but which partially explains why I've only heard ONE of these TEN before (and that one is the Bowie). And, to answer Bing's question about what happens in the Bowie household, it seems many years ago my wife worked for a New York Law firm where Davie was a client. She said he was very strict with his kids and sent them to posh private school. I'm guessing Crosby already knew that. But, none of that is important right now. What is, is, I suffered through scoring another very short choral work using our friend Sibelius. I'm almost grown used to it now. I DO have a new nomination for its worst feature though. This is that it MOVES THINGS AROUND BY ITSELF. Why, oh why can't it leave the score positioned on the screen where it is. I bought a huge monitor so I could see more at the same time, but it can't but help shifting the display and as best I can tell, at random times. It thinks it's a great idea to center what I'm working on, but I'm not looking there. It seems to randomly change the ribbon too. Next project, Dwhateveritscalled instead. Happy Christmas. Jim B. p.s. I'd relate how we managed to not meet John and Bob but that would involve continuing typing into this input box THAT DOESN'T SCROLL.
