Another Year of College Kings is Coming!

One of the fixes seems to be log off and the reconnect the launcher to patreon. This first fixed not getting all patches (initially stopped at 10.2.1.. Should have been 14.1.1). The log off and log back on solved a 'you don't have' .. Or 'can't find proper.' . Executable as well

I'm sorry, you have these issues. Around 3-4% of our audience to have issues with the launcher and we're always looking to improve it of course. Meanwhile the full game download should act as an equally good alternative.

To be fair only the ones that are having problems with the launcher have reported it, Steve has mentioned before how though it is only a fraction of the players experiencing issues with the launcher that they are working to fix those problems as they update the launcher.

If you are going to make the Launcher a requirement in the future updates can you at least make sure it's going to actually work for people? you are pushing the Launcher on people when so many are having issues with it and if people want to download the game the normal way they have to be Seniors. The game is currently unplayable for me because of a Simplr bug and I was told by a mod if I redownload the game via Launcher it should be fixed, but the Launcher does not work for me and many others, kind of seems like a pretty big issue that's not being looked in to.

It's not like real politics though - it's a popularity contest. And it's kind of refreshing to see something a bit different in this genre. Every game like this just makes MC popular by default and if he says the right things, he gets all the girls. It's interesting to see popularity and persuasion being used a bit differently to actually effect an in-game event. In fact, I'd love it to be even more intricate, with different strategies for all KCT types and a real measurement of MC's standing in the race too.

Thanks for the update guys and keep up the good work. I must say though I love NEARLY everything about CK with one exception but I know it would break the story to exclude it entirely. I just wish that the focus of act 4 and beyond would be less political. Living in a state in America that is a swing state in many election means that I am constantly even in off years bombarded with political calls and texts etc and I just get tired of it and seek out my computer to get away from that stuff. It's okay to an extent in the game, I just would rather it not be the primary storyline focus if you get my meaning.

Looking forward to part 2 - haha, everything keeps ending on a cliffhanger. Also, nice to see a cuter dog :)
