About the “No Name Maddox” … when I had all of my children (6 of them) every one of their crib cards and other forms/announcements said Baby Girl Surname or Baby Boy Surname. For example, my last child was Baby girl Hutchinson. It has been a common occurrence to have “No Name Surname” on rough draft birth certificates and stuff like that. The maiden name is also used sometimes.

While I don’t condone in any shape or form what Charles did and I’m not a psychiatrist or psychologist , the person he became isn’t surprising. Garret’s comment on Charles’s mother parenting made me realize that sometimes we should take a step back and observe the situation going on. Charles mom was SUPER young when she had him, she was just a child herself with clearly no guide so it’s not surprising she parented the way she did. With that being said Charles learned at a very young age what many young children learn in divorce parent households and single parent households. Manipulation! You learn what you can get away with certain people at certain time, it was a pure survival tactic form him that clearly got wayyyy out of hand. Also remember that all these psych evaluations he’s having and anyone else for that matter around this time period should be sort of taken with a grain of salt. Their perspective on the situation is influenced by the time period they live in. For example in that time a person could be could be considered dangerous because they were into things out of the norm for that time period but in todays perspective it’s perceived as just plain old curiosity.
