Pet Imp (Alpha 0.3)

To many, Pet Imps are viewed as among the most harmless demons of the Realm of Corruption. Unlike most other demons that were created in order to corrupt others, Pet Imps were simply created by the Perverter of Form in order to serve as entertainment for its most loyal followers.

Pet Imps are known as some of the most beautiful yet weak demons of the Realm of Corruption, possessing exaggerated proportions, and superbly beautiful faces, with their skin, hair, and eyes appearing in shades of blues, purples, and pinks.

All Pet Imps are bound to a given master who they regularly shower with praise and adoration, seeking to be as close to their bonded creature as possible. In the rare circumstance that a Pet Imp doesn't have a master, it will spend it will do everything it can to find a powerful creature it can bind itself to to serve.

Incredibly loyal and submissive, while these demons are incredibly frail and incapable of dealing damage, what they lack in combative capabilities they make up for in affection. Not only can the affection and beauty of a Pet Imp magically inspire that creature, enhancing its combative abilities, but all Pet Imps are charged with a specific spell selected by the Perverter of Form when the Imp was created. While a Pet Imp isn't capable of casting magic itself, a creature bound to one of these imps is capable of harnessing that spell's power once per day.

The Perverter of Truth created Pet Imps to inspire cutthroat ambition within Demons,  with these imps often serving as a status symbol of the most elite fiends of the Realm of Corruption. While Pet Imps are blindly loyal to their masters, if the Master of a Pet Imp is ever defeated by another creature, that creature immediately becomes that Pet Imp's master, becoming the new target of the Imp's affection. While a Pet Imp maintains memory of its previous master, it is compelled to be unshakably loyal and affectionate to its current Master.

In addition to sowing seeds of ambition within demons, sometimes even inspiring them to rise up against their superiors in order to gain their Pet Imps, these Imps have a unique transformative failsafe crafted by the Perverter of Form to punish those unappreciative of the Imps. If the Master of a Pet Imp ever willingly defeats it, the Pet Imp and that creature immediately exchange roles, with the Pet Imp being given access to the magic and abilities of its former master while that creature is rendered a Pet Imp themselves.

Abilities:

Flight: The Pet Imp is capable of flight.

Bimbo Personality: This creature has two personality traits; Submissive and one chosen by the GM from the Bimbo personality trait chart.

Bonded Pet: The Pet Imp can spend a one-handed action to bond itself to an adjacent creature. The Pet Imp can be bonded to no more than one creature at a time with this ability. While bonded to that creature, the Imp is considered charmed by that creature and will obey any verbal command issued to it by that creature that doesn't directly cause it harm. This bond lasts indefinitely until the creature it is bonded to is defeated. If that creature is defeated by another creature, the Pet Imp's current bond breaks and it immediately becomes bonded to the creature that defeated the prior bonded creature

Bonded Support: As a two-handed action, the Pet Imp can encourage the creature its bonded to. That creature gains 1d6 it may add to any one roll by the beginning of the Imp's next turn.

Imp's Gift: This monster is fueled by any 1 spell chosen by the GM. The spell can be from any spell list save for Priest and can have an MP cost no greater than 35. Once per day, if the creature bonded to this Imp is on an adjacent space, that creature may cast that spell as a two-handed action to cast that spell without paying its MP cost.

Roll Exchange: If the creature bonded to the Pet Imp willingly defeats it, that creature's HP and Will are immediately reduced to 0. The Pet Imp then becomes the race of the bonded creature, losing all abilities it possessed through being a Pet Imp,  each of its combat and utility stats become that of the bonded creature, it gains each of the class levels of the bonded creature, and it loses the submissive personality trait. The bonded creature then loses all class levels and becomes a Pet Imp, gaining the stats and abilities of this monster. It retains its personality traits, but it gains the two personality traits of the Pet Imp it defeated. This transformation can only be undone by the work of a demigod, a god, or if the original Pet Imp defeats the creature it exchanged rolls with.
