Hey everyone, BIG (big big big big big big) news. With the size of our team, (18 members, including Grimmjack, Coffinjockey, EoD, BuddyVA, Eagle8burger, PSWeasel, Ezekieru, Redbeast13, Stormsage13, GaogaikingthegreatVA, PyrOMG!, TheDastails, plus our new writers and editors, UntilDawnCreeps, The Rollin Nolan, DoktorApplejuce, SaltyDKDan, IzanamiVA and CharlestonVO) we’re going to be able to produce A LOT of content. Because of that, the best step for us moving forward is to switch to Pay Per Creation.

When we first started The Schmuck Squad, we were hoping to hit our first goal around the end of our first year. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to make that happen, and many people on our team have been working for much less than what they’re worth. On top of all that, Grimmjack and Coffinjockey are going to be filing to make an official business out of this stuff, and that means taxes and fees for everyone (The alternative is tax evasion, so I guess fees it is).

We’re not going to blindside you guys with this, we’re giving you guys a ton of warning. This change isn’t going into effect until August. We did as much polling as possible to get your thoughts on this issue, and we heard back from a lot of you. Unfortunately, only about 1/5th of you guys told us what you think, so we’re not able to really gauge the scope of this change. That being said, nothing has to change if you don’t want it to. You can always add a cap and only pay once per month, the same as you’ve already been doing. This change is mostly to help us with those among you guys that are willing to pay multiple times per month for each creation we put out.

This brings us to some good news, we’re going to be putting out a LOT more content a LOT more regularly. At the moment, we’ve been working to try to ensure that our team produces 3 full abridged episodes every month. This will be assured for you patrons on patreon, as we can upload them on google drive, (where we can’t get a copyright strike), but we’re unable to guarantee how fast stuff will be uploaded to our Youtube channels (Eagle8Burger, Grimmjack69, Abridgilliance, PSWeasel, EoD, Abridgiplex, and of course, The Schmuck Squad).

TLDR; We’re switching to pay per creation in August, Set a cap if you need to, We’re gonna try to upload 3 full episodes a month, We love you, Schmucks 9 soon~
