Love Rosemary's reaction. "While you were busy distilling my daughter down to a sex object, I was seeing her as a whole person. Let me pull you out by your hair for emphasis."

I get the impression that at the time, she didn't intend to make advances, she really thought she was doing the "wise, chaste mentor of the naive babydyke" thing. Then, she started developing inappropriate feelings, rationalized why it was OK to act on them, and only _then_ started acting like the very creepers she earlier scorned. IMO, that's a more interesting story than "Was a manipulative hypocrite all along".

Man, this family has a thing about hair. Why any of the girls would ever wear hair down to there is beyond my ken. Barbie also.

Oh, ow. Mama bear has quite a grip there. Kat is not going to bluster her way out of this one.

So far, I'm happy with Rosemary's response. Focused on her child's well being rather than what her sexuality might be.

I have the feeling that Rosemary will deal with Pumpkin through disappointment and Juniper will come up in the conversation, instead of the anger and rage that is being directed at Kat.

I don't believe for a minute that Rosey is letting Kat off that easily....

I saw this coming. ANY woman capable of handling that group of kids is WELL trained in dealing with nonsense. This is the type of woman that hardened mercenaries and military veterans would fear. Her actions are not simply that of a mother, but strike like the fist of an angry god!

We don't know Rosemary's full reaction yet. Removing the 23 year she previously overheard manipulating and now about to kiss her 15 year old does not imply a lack of acceptance for the choices Pumpkin will choose to make on her own when not pressured. Sure, she could come down on her like a load of bricks about it too, but that's far from certain at this point.

Yeah, I guess getting caught like that would be really embarrassing. Especially when she knows it's going to lead into that oh-so awkward talk about sexuality. She might not realize what her mom was so worried about quite yet, or the danger Kat presented here so their eventual talk will probably be interesting.

Heh, I knew Kat would try to intimidate Rosemary. It's delightful to see her get dragged out by her hair like the brat she is.

I get the feeling Pumpkin may not necessarily be discovering her sexuality so much as she felt kissing Kat might be the only way to not lose a friend, which would be my assumption based on Pumpkin's expression during the almost-kiss page.. Sometimes people do stupid things for friendship.

Not sure what's going to happen in the future, but at the moment it looks like Kat's getting off easy. As regards how the comic looks, I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like the width of the column in which the comic appears is narrower than the comic itself, which makes the text just a smidge tinier. Thanks for including the comic as a download, too.
