Kailee on the Florida Trip

My two favorite models had been asking to take a quick trip to Florida to the Gulf side of the peninsula to do a shoot and I finally took time from my work schedule to make it happen. It was such a great trip even through it was very short. It is so difficult to book a spot inside any of the state parks that I only came up with a place to tent camp. But the day we left a cabin became available and it's good it did because temps at night were mid 40's. When we arrived at the cabin my very first thought was it would not be a good place to shoot and everything would be done out on or near the beach. But the first morning I woke up and looked out the back door at the beautiful light filtering through the black screened porch I knew this would be a great place to catch some interesting images.. That was good because the wind on the beach was fierce and it was only around 68 degrees for the high. The little porch was a bit chilly but proved workable since they could go inside to warm up as needed. In fact, I had them getting into a hot shower to warm up which gives the skin a pretty glow great for shooting.

I had bought a couple of stylish bicycles a few weeks before figuring to use them as props and give them to the girls to keep and this worked out fantastic. All the colors in the shots on the porch looked perfectly color coordinated even though it was just random luck. I will be adding more images as I edit them. Hope you enjoy.
