NARUTO PLAYERS OF CHAOS CHAPTER 1 : THE LAST PLAYER

[Before starting the chapter I would like to explain how this entire story is going to progress and my update patterns. This Fanfic has only one main character but unlike other fanfictions, I will also give more focus on other players. Who are the players? you will learn that soon enough. How many players there are well I am as of right now not sure but there will be plenty to make more and more chaos, you will need to read to know more. Also don’t bunk on following the canon as I don’t plan to follow it a lot because there is a lot of chaos going to happen in this fanfic.

Lastly, I also want to say that I will update this every day but for completing the 15k word limit so my fanfic quickly falls under the ranking category I will be writing the first 3 chapters of 5k chapter. These three chapters are not only going to be the intro to this fic but also I will use these chapters to set the pace and chances in the plot] Please Enjoy.

I knew that something was not right because I was just going to school but suddenly I appear in this dark space.

“What the hell is going on? Did I pass away or something.” I mutter trying to calm down or make a little sense of this situation in which I was in but I knew that internally I was panicking.

I am no one special, just a normal 14-year-old living with my parents. I don’t have any girlfriend and am a virgin but that is not something I like to talk but why I am thinking about that right now.

It took me some time before I really calm down and understand what is going on here.

“Okay let's recall what I was doing, where I was and what could have caused this complete blackout.” I said to myself and took a deep breath.

I woke up today and had lunch then I was on my way to school but then.

THEN.

I can’t remember, then I was here. I don’t remember anything. Hell, I don’t even remember getting out of my home.

While I was thinking about this, I realize that I was not alone here.

My eyes widen. Now I am not a very superstitious person but right now all my instincts were shouting at me that this thing is a ghost or something like that.

“No no, that is not possible. I am most probably dreaming at best” I said to myself.

“I assure you that this is real. But calling this a dream is also not wrong as this is not happening in reality or to be exact. There exists no place like this in the cosmos” came a very scary and harsh voice out of no where.

I freeze, now I have no choice but to accept the fact that this is real.

“Calm down, calm down, don’t panic. Don’t listen to the scary voice” I mutter to myself.

“You can do that but you will only waste this chance to get some information on what is about to happen to you” said the voice with a chuckle.

I still did not say anything. I now really started to feel scared at what was happening to me.

“How the hell do people remain calm when something like this happens to them in all those fanfictions,” I thought to myself.

“Hmm, interesting human. You can still think about something like fanfiction, Hahaha. Good Good, you will be a great addition to this game.” said the voice in a booming voice.

This voice was so loud that I had to close my ears with my hands. It's almost like I was hearing a giant talking. “Shit, this is messed up,” I thought.

“Damn, I am only 14 this year. Did not even have a girlfriend and above everything I am a Virgin. I will die as a virgin. What will happen to my parents? What about school? I did not even erase my history, what if my parent saw that” there were thousands of things roaming in my mind right now because of how panicked and scared I was?

“Hahaha, I would sure like to listen to you panic until you are dead but unfortunately we even don’t have that much time. So you better prepare yourself for what is about to come” said the voice. The voice was still as scary as it was before and there was an eerie feeling that I could not explain.

It is almost unbearable standing in this cold place and totally pitch-black place, listening to this demonic voice.

This darkness is so much that I can’t even see my own arms and other body parts.

“It's not the darkness you idiot, you currently don’t have eyes.” shouted the Voice.

This was not a shout but more like a roar from a deadly monster.

I shudder and a chill went directly through my spine.

“What is this, where I am and who are you,” I ask with all the courage I could muster.

“Does it really matter. “ came the response I was not expecting a response in the first place but this response is even more unexpected.

I did not say anything after that. Or maybe I could not muster more courage to open my mouth after that.

This is not something where I should be, I am not like those main characters who can do anything. I am just a normal 14-year-old boy.

“Enough, there is no point in thinking about what you are or you are not. From this point, you are something special. The reason you will know soon enough.

In fact, you are the only person who might know what going on, Hahaha” came the voice and besides being confused, my mind was trying to get any kind of useful information I could get from the voice.

“What, what do you mean,” I ask.

“You will know, didn’t I say? Now it's time for you to go player, you are the last one, and already pretty late.” came the voice but this time the voice came right behind me.

This bone-chilling voice was scary enough to become my nightmare for the upcoming few decades if I don’t die today that is.

Hell, maybe I am already dead. But before I could think anything more, I was pushed from behind and was falling. This falling was even more terrifying because there was no light. It's almost like free falling and there was no end to this fall.

“Don’t worry about being late, I have a little something planned for you. One in a lifetime chance like you humans say, hahaha” said the voice and the voice was fading.

I might be shouting but there was no sound coming this time around.

I don’t know for how long I fall but suddenly I open my eyes and breath hard.

I was not falling anymore and could finally see.

“What is this place, what the fuck is going on here” I almost shouted but still restrain myself before being loud enough to get heard by someone.

But just when I was figuring out whether this all is real or someone put some kind of drug into my system when I was sleeping. All sorts of memories started to assault my brain.

I won’t lie, this is painful as hell. It was done quick enough but I was dizzy and my head was spinning for some time.

“You got to be kidding me” I muttered.

The information I just got was about a boy name Akira Raito and he is from Land of Fire, Konoha village. An orphan who was born in the year 65 of Konoha.

He is a black hair and white skin boy. Currently, he is only 4 years old and training alone in the wood. Being an orphan in Konoha means that he has no other choice but to join Ninja Academy in the future and become a Ninja. There is no other choice where he will get benefits from the village.

“It's still better to be an orphan in Konoha than to be an orphan in any other ninja village” I mutter after the horrible experience of getting all those memories stuffed into my head. It's still hurt, to be honest, but at least now I can focus.

I finally took a deep breath and started to examine my surroundings. The first thing which anyone from a modern world like me will notice is the clean air here.

“Just breathing here feels much better than what it would be back in my world,” I mutter.

Then I look around my surroundings. I was surrounded by trees and snow.

“It sure is a little cold here,” I said to myself.

I rack my brain to remember where I live or to be more exact where the previous owner of this body used to live in the village.

Soon I got the information. I might be an orphan but my parents did leave me a home before dying in the Nine Tail Attack.

“Hmm, At least I have a home to go back to,” I said but I already have tears in my eyes.

Damn it, I don’t want to be here. I might not be anything special but I liked my life back there.

I tried not to give in to my emotions and held back my tears. Good thing that no one was there to see me.

I again took heavy breaths and calm down. “I need to calm down and think what I will do from now on,” I said to myself.

[Ding]

“Ahaa” I shouted and jerk back because of the sudden sound.

“What the hell is that,” I said.

In front of me, there was some sort of a hologram. This is much similar to what a game interface looks like.

“What, what does that mean” I mutter, reading the text again trying to understand what going on here.

But before I come to any conclusion, I heard footsteps coming towards me.

“Someone is coming,” I thought and instantly became alert.

I could see someone running towards me while carrying something. I narrowed my eyes to see what was happening.

It did not take long before I saw a person in front of me carrying someone. No this is not just any person. This is Hinata.

After reading the text in the hologram and witnessing a person kidnapping a young girl. There is no way I won’t understand what going on.

One minute, thus the text wants me to defeat this guy.

I look towards the cloud shinobi and gulp. He is sending deadly killing intent towards me. I know that because currently I am having problem breathing and even standing on my legs in front of this person.

“Run, Run now otherwise you will die” was the only thing my mind was saying to me right now.

I was about to start running but I find a kunai coming towards me before I can move. On instincts, I was able to move and dodge the kunai.

“This, when did this person throw the kunai” I wonder to myself but the adrenaline in my system was making me panic and was pushing my brain to work overdrive.

“Good thing that the previous owner of this body train every day and have a little danger instinct inside him.” I could not help but thank the previous owner of this body.

But I did not have enough time to do anything else as the Cloud Shinobi rushed toward me and took out a Kunai.

“Shit” uttered out of my mouth. “Why are you targeting me? I did not do anything to you” I was thinking to myself.

I tried to run away but the cloud shinobi was faster. He was in fact so much faster that I did not even realize that he came near me. The only thing I saw was a kunai coming towards my neck.

Again thanks to my inherit instincts, I was able to dodge directly getting hit by the Kunai but I was hit on my left shoulder.

My adrenaline keep me from feeling the pain from being stabbed on my left shoulder but that does not mean that I was totally unaffected.

But the cloud shinobi did not stop, he attack again but this time I was able to jump back on time because he was disbalance carrying Hinata.

I did not have any weapon on me at this time, What four-year-old carry a weapon on him inside the village?

But I did have a rock on me. The previous owner had it with him because he practises throwing rocks. “It seems like I am poor no matter which life I am in”.

I took out the rock on my hand to defend myself but I internally knew that a rock will do nothing in front of a chunin.

The cloud shinobi who about to attack me again but at this time the chunin looked behind him for some reason.

I had no idea what was going on but I knew that this is my chance. I clench the rock in my hand and throw it directly towards the cloud shinobi.

Normally this would have never worked but currently, the cloud shinobi was under a lot of pressure and obviously distracted by whatever he was looking at.

“This is the only chance I have. Do it” I throw the stone with everything I had, towards the shinobi eye. I was internally praying for it to hit but unfortunately, it did not hit.

My aim was not right. No this is not about my aim but rather a capability of a trained chunin. “Damn, a normal person is no match to a shinobi.

But one good thing was that the shinobi dodge in the last second and was not completely able to avoid the attack. Rather than hitting the eye, the stone hit his nose.

Maybe it was the sudden attack or pain but after getting hit the shinobi drop Hinata from his shoulder. At this time Hinata was passed out and her mouth was gagged with clothes.

[Ding].

I heard the same voice in my mind that I heard previously but currently, I did not have time to think about this because I sense something behind me.

This person was obviously the cloud shinobi who appear behind me all of a sudden and kick me hard enough to launch me towards the trees.

I only saw myself flying backwards and hitting a tree.

I instantly feel the pain and almost passed out.

“move move, otherwise you will die” I repeated to myself because I saw the shinobi coming toward me.

He had a Kunai in his hand and was aiming for me.

“Move god dammit” I shouted internally. Panicking and trying my best to defend myself.

It took everything I had to just move aside at the last moment when the person was about to attack me but my eyes widen when I saw the chunin grab me from my leg and swing me towards another tree. Being a 4-year-old child means that you will be manhandled by an adult no matter how much you try to avoid the hits, their difference in physical power and height is too much.

I hit the tree and cough up blood instantly. My already dizzy mind was almost giving up on me.

Unfortunately, it did not stop there as the man threw a kunai towards me. The Kunai directly pierce my stomach.

My eyes widen, “Shit, did I only come here to die” I thought and fall to the ground.

I did not hear anything afterwards but I was not unconscious for some reason.

I saw with hazy vision the man after almost killing me rushed toward Hinata again but dodge back suddenly.

I could see that there was someone beside Hinata at this time. I could not see who this person was, thanks to my hazy vision and blood entering into my eyes but considering the reaction of the cloud shinobi, that person should be from Konoha.

The man did not go towards Hinata anymore and ran towards me. A sharp fear arose inside me.

“Is he going to kill me” I could not help but dread.

“But considering the direction of the person I could say that he is not coming towards me directly but rather running away. Yes, he must be running away from whoever came to protect Hinata” I thought.

But he was not able to run as a powerful wind blew towards him. I saw the cloud shinobi stumbling in front of my eye and getting behind a tree the moment a kunai was thrown towards him.

“Did I just see a jutsu being performed in front of me for the first time?” I thought to myself. A little smile came to my face. I might be dying but this time maybe for the first time I am not scared and panicking since I appear in that dark place and heard that horrible voice.

I might have already accepted my end but maybe that is why for a short time I was not scared.

But there was a surge of adrenaline Inside me. Like I suddenly getting stronger. My exhaustion getting away, my stamina regaining and my pain subsiding.

I don’t know what going on but the only thing right now I was thinking was getting back to that Shinobi because of whom I am dying.

I slowly tried to get up. My entire body was shaking but I could feel that I am getting my strength back. “Not sure what going on but I will at least give one punch to that mother fucker.” I said to myself internally.

As if the person heard what I thought, he looked towards me. I saw him looking towards me behind the tree where he was hiding from all the wind-style jutsu coming towards him.

Then he rushes towards me, a kunai in his hand and murderous intent towards me.

My eyes widen,” This, is he coming to kill me? No why would he do that right now if he himself is running from that Konoha shinobi.” I questioned myself.

But then I understood what was going on. He is not exactly coming to kill me but rather to hold me captive.

I stood up with everything I got. Many of my rips were broken by hitting that tree and my left should was slashed and blood was flowing out from there. But that was nothing in front of the kunai stuck in my gut.

I saw the person almost near me and got ready.

“If I am dying here then I will take you with me you son of a bitch” I shouted and pulled out the kunai from my stomach. It hurt like a bitch but right now the only thing I was thinking about was killing the person in front of me.

The enemy shinobi also saw me removing the kunai from my gut and throwing the kunai toward him.

The cloud shinobi was close enough to get hit by the kunai but my throw was not powerful enough to pierce his clothing.

“Bullshit, that person he clearing wearing a vest inside. I throw the kunai with everything I got” I mutter to myself, clearly disappointed that I did not get the fucker with that.

“Well at least I tried, that’s what counts right,” I thought as the man was almost near me.

“So is this the end,” I thought to myself. I really did not want to die but when you know that you will die no matter what then you just have to accept it. Life is a bitch like that” I thought.

But just when the shinobi was about to grab me and held me captive, a powerful wind jutsu came towards him and he had to dodge. He actually did it pretty well but when it comes to regaining his balance he was not able to do so.

I saw him getting disbalance and almost falling down.

The reason was multiple rocks in the place where the shinobi stepped on.

“This, this is the place where the previous owner of this body was practising rock throwing” suddenly came to my mind.

I was almost ready to die and suddenly regain my fighting spirit again.

[Naruto Theme Song Raising Fighting Spirit suddenly started playing]

“Yes, one last chance. This is the last chance. Make it count” shouted to myself.

I muster all my courage and clench my fist and rush towards the shinobi.

The person who was on the ground quickly regain his balance after falling down and bring his kunai forwards to hit me and stop my moment.

Maybe it was because he wanted me alive to hold me captive he did not directly go for my vitals but he still attacked me. He might be aiming for the same wound he slash on my left shoulder.

“Cruel bastard” was the only thing I could think about at this time.

I gritted my teeth and bring forward my left to catch the kunai which was coming towards me. It was exactly like Naruto stopping Kabuto’s kunai from his left hand.

[Song Intensify]

I was not trying to copy him but there was no other way right now for me to save myself from that attack besides sacrificing my left hand.

The kunai directly enter my hand and a sharp pain of flesh, muscles and bone tearing and breaking came to me.

Only 20 minutes before I could have never believed that I was even standing and facing this person like this but here I was not only catching the kunai in my left hand but also aiming to beat this scary-looking mother fucker in front of me.

My entire body was bloodied and I had no idea how I was still conscious but I only knew one thing at this point.
”I will be dying here soon so I better die fighting”.

For the first time maybe in my life, I shouted a warcry “AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH” and muster all of my remaining power in my right hand.

I did not give it much importance but at this time there was powerful dense dark blue chakra condensing in my right hand and my entire body was strengthened at this time.

And with this sudden random power, I smash my chakra-coated fist right into the cloud shinobi’s face.

Cloud shinobi was not even able to react after I grab him from my left hand in Naruto style.

The Punch directly connected and I slam the cloud shinobi to the ground with a boom. If I am not wrong then I also heard his skull cracking. The punch was powerful enough to knock the shinobi with just one move.

But that was the last of what I had left inside me and after that punch, the unusual power which was surging inside me was gone and I could again feel the pain from my wounds.

[Ding]

I once again heard that sound and that was the last thing I heard before losing consciousness.

“This,” said the person who was beside Hinata at this point. He was none other than Hyuga Hiashi. He went after the cloud shinobi after using his Byakugan and seeing the cloud shinobi had kidnapped his daughter.

But when he thought that he won’t be able to reach the cloud shinobi in time, he saw the kidnapper attacking someone. It was a child who was blocking his way.

The child was seriously injured but he still kept going.

But what picked Hisashi’s interest the most was the powerful chakra which burst out from the child. It was a powerful dark blue chakra. He could sense the power of that chakra, he did not even have to use his Byakugan.

“This child, what a powerful chakra” mutter Hiashi.

He quickly pick up his daughter and went towards the boy. He saw how seriously injured this child was. He made a shadow clone and carried the child as well.

In a dark place, where there was nothing. Nothing existed there.

“I am here again” I mutter seeing everything around me dark.

This time around I was a lot more calm than previously. It was not even 25 minutes before I was here and was talking to that scary voice.

When I thought about that voice. I still internally shudder and looked around to find if there is anyone there but of course, there was no light to see anything.

“No, it's not like there is no light but rather I don’t have eyes here to see” I recalled what the voice said to me last time.

Clap, clap clap.

I heard the sound. This put me on alert again. I completely forgot that I was seriously injured before coming here.

“You did better than I thought you will. I was not wrong choosing you as the last” I heard the same terrifying voice resounding around him.

I clench my fist and started to figure out where the voice was coming from.

“ Congratulation on getting the one and only cheat in the game. I am now most interested to see how you will entertain me Player” said the voice and then I was falling again.

This feeling was still as uncomfortable as the last time.

The fall almost felt endless but suddenly woke up. I saw a white ceiling.

My whole body was suffering from pain if I move. I tried to look around and see where I was. Considering the room,  I could only think that this is a hospital.

“What the hell is happening with me” I mutter slowly. In the last 30 minutes, the most extraordinary things have happened to me.

While looking around I saw a tiny light ball in the edge of my vision. I first thought that there was something in my eyes but then I found out that it was not my eyes but rather the same holographic thing which I saw before.

I tried to touch the spot from my hand and suddenly 2 holographic notifications came in front of me.

Primary Mission - Save Hinata (Hold back the cloud shinobi)

I blink my eyes again and again to understand.

“I remember getting a mission from this hologram to save Hinata and defeat the cloud Shinobi before. Maybe that’s what it's mean. I might get more insight if I am somehow able to open the same Hologram which displays my stats.” I thought to myself.

“Status,” I said.

Nothing happened.

“Stats,” I said.

Nothings happened.

I narrowed my eyes. “How the hell am I supposed to bring that hologram back” I mutter to myself.

I thought about it, if It's not like most of the isekai situations where I get a system. So how will I be able to bring forth that Hologram? “Hmmm,” I hum to myself.

Thinking about this was the only thing I could do besides sleeping. No one came to visit me during all this time I was in the hospital.

And yes I was still in the Konoha and was still 4 years old.

No Sorry, I was 5 years old already as I was in this damn hospital for entire 4 months.

The doctor told me that 4 months ago the people from the Hyuga clan bought me to the Konoha hospital and even paid for my entire recovery so I don’t have to worry about not being able to pay the hospital.

He also told me that I was almost dead when they bought me here and it is only a miracle that I recover.

I just sigh to myself and closed my eyes. I tried to remember what that Hologram looked like and thought about how to bring it again.

But that even I notice a little light on the edge of my vision again. This only appears when I close my eyes and was thinking about the hologram

I could not touch it as it's not really exist but I tried to look towards it and try to reach it with my chakra.

Then I open my eyes and the hologram was there.

I read the entire thing and the only thing I was thinking was “Holy Shit”.

“Otsutsuki, that's really a cheat right there” I mutter.

But the Kekkei Genkai is locked. Considering Otsutsuki from the anime. There is a high possibility that I might unlock Byakugan.

I was finally getting excited about this whole thing which was going on with me. Something was telling me that this world has a lot more to offer to me than what I think it does.

But if I have an option then I will still choose to go back to my previous life.

But thinking about that is pointless and counterproductive right now.

“Hmm, I am still surprised that I was able to beat that chunin.” I thought to myself.

And with that sleep consume me.

A few days later.

Today I will be discharged. It was nothing less than torture to stay here in the hospital without any kind of entertainment, especially for someone like me who is used to social media and the internet.

“Oh, what I would not give to get my phone and Netflix access right now” I mutter, internally crying in silence.

In the few days, I was here and was conscious, I was able to figure out how I was able to beat that Chunin.

This all was possible because of my In Born Talent.

While fighting with the chunin I remember getting that DING sound just when I attack the shinobi with the stone.

What I believe is that I accomplish the first task to save Hinata then. I might do not beat the cloud shinobi back then but I was able to delay him enough that the person who came to save Hinata catch up to the cloud shinobi.

Only after that did I truly got seriously injured.

After completing the primary task, I unlock my In Born Talent Growth.

I believe that this power of “Growth” increased my power back then and made me grow in real time to face the obstacle in front of me. It's kind of similar to super Saiyan or Kaioken power boost but only not that strong.

This is just a speculation but there is no other reason I could think about of me suddenly becoming a badass like Naruto and having to courage to sacrifice my hand and punch the hell out of the cloud shinobi.

I personally don’t see myself doing that so it has to be the influence of that power.

Honestly, I really feel proud of myself for doing what I did. That punch was awesome and I was really badass back then.

Anyway’s time to get the hell out of this hospital and see Konoha for the first time after coming here.

“Can’t believe that I am here for almost 4 to 5 months and could not see Konoha for myself,” I said to myself and directly jump out of bed and got ready to get the fuck out of this hospital.
