This is the second last fight of the preliminary test, and the arena was packed with spectators eagerly awaiting the next match. The air crackled with anticipation as Rock Lee, a determined and hardworking member of Team Guy, stepped onto the arena floor. His opponent was none other than Gaara, the enigmatic sand user from the Village Hidden in the Sand.

"Go, Lee! Show 'em what you've got!" Naruto shouted, pumping his fist in the air.

Hinata, her lavender eyes fixed on the arena, silently wished for Lee's victory, knowing firsthand the strength of his unwavering spirit.

Shikamaru, known for his strategic mind, analyzed the situation and wondered how Lee would approach this formidable opponent. Shikamaru, in his usual laid-back manner, contemplated the possible strategies both fighters would employ.

As the match began, Gaara's eyes gleamed with an intense desire for battle. The sand surrounding him swirled and formed a formidable barrier, ready to defend him at a moment's notice. Ino, watching the fight closely, analyzed the situation and whispered to her teammates, "Gaara's defence seems impenetrable. Lee will need a different approach to break through." Shikamaru, deep in thought, nodded in agreement, appreciating the challenge that lay ahead for their friend.

Rock Lee, undeterred by Gaara's defences, continued to attack relentlessly. He pushed his body to the limit, unveiling his secret technique—the "Hidden Lotus." Lee's speed increased tenfold as he struck Gaara with a barrage of rapid kicks and punches.

The crowd held their breath, and Team Guy watched on anxiously. Neji Hyuga, a member of Team Guy, clenched his fists, "when did Lee become this stron" was the only thing which he was thinking. Tenten, the weapon specialist, stared in awe, admiring Lee's dedication and the strength he displayed.

The crowd gasped, and Team 7, Team 8, Team 9, and Team 10 held their breath as Gaara tightened his grip on Lee. Naruto clenched his fists, a mix of worry and determination etched on his face. Hinata, ever compassionate, silently sent her support to Lee. Akira, couldn't help but admire his indomitable spirit.

Lee struggled, his willpower refusing to waver, but the sand's hold proved unbreakable. With a final surge of strength, Gaara lifted Lee into the air and slammed him onto the ground with bone-crushing force.

The arena fell into stunned silence as the dust settled. Team Guy looked on with a mix of disappointment and pride for their teammate's valiant effort. Naruto, his voice trembling with emotion, called out to Lee, offering words of encouragement and support.

Akira was wondering whether he should act or not. He could have saved Lee but unlike from the canon, he is not injured badly this time around.

"Lee as a Shinobi also have to understand that sometimes giving up is better than keeping fighting ahead," thought Akira.

This is something even Naruto is guilty of. Understanding which battle to pick and which to avoid is also an important skill which a ninja should have.

Anyways, Akira will visit Lee late and heal him.

"Winner, Gaara of the Sand," said the proctor.

"And now the last match, Akira Raito vs Neji Hyuga," said the proctor and Akira finally got the chance to take part and showcase his different techniques and tools.

"Alright, let's make this a good show shall we," said Akira and entered the fighting ring.
