yeah doesnt really stand up to spyxfamily and is a much simpler setup but sometimes i really enjoy stuff like that though yeah what really pulled me in was the hints to their past in the opening. personally just dont always need story hooks for slice of lifes though it is nice when we get them but for this one main draw me is just the relationship of izumi and shikimori and their characters (also think him saying ijumi is just him getting flustered and mispronouncing his name)
