Yes Isaac Hayes who voiced Chef left the show because of this episode, he was the Duke of New York villain in Escape From New York. Also one of Hubbard's novels, Battlefield Earth, was made into a movie starring Travolta, maybe you heard of it as the movie is regarded as one of the worst movies of all time. Check out a YouTube video about it as it is a blast to see how bad the movie is.

Apparently that's a thing that reactors just do, so I've heard :)

Keeping it relatively brief, the Scientology stuff was actually surprisingly accurate, with minor discrepancies, and the first time that the Xenu story was ever told to the public at large, which is why Scientology went absolutely bananas. The Xenu story is (or was) the most closely guarded "secret" of Scientology. But the average Scientologist doesn't know anything about that, as they don't learn it until they're cleared to study OT3 (typically after spending 100s of thousands of dollars on thousands of hours of auditing). Few Scientologists ever reach OT3 (There are 8 OT levels, plus a ton of stuff to do before they ever start on the OT levels). They literally have to go to a special secure room at one I believe only two locations where they can read OT3 under close supervision. They're told that if they even tell someone the information contained within OT3, that person (the one they're telling) will catch Pneumonia and die because they can't handle the information. And yes, L. Ron Hubbard was one of, if not THE most prolific Science Fiction writers in the world. I believe he actually holds multiple Guiness world records for the most published works, or something to that effect. I'm sure the fact that advanced levels of Scientology sounds like completely science fiction is purely coincidental ;).

Season 7, 8 and 9 are so good, so many classic episodes, I can easily watch any of them, you really can't miss a winner. Hope you revisit some of the others a little further down the line!

Is anyone interested in watching 'Big Bang Theory'?
