🗳️ Weekly Poll #22
Added 2023-06-04 15:55:05 +0000 UTC
Winner of last week's poll was 🏆 Mask of Zorro!
These movies are chosen from my HUGE list that I personally would like to see. These polls help me narrow down my own choices from a list of hundreds so thanks for your help!
Movies not chosen may be back on future polls or watched later in schedule.
Vote for as many as you like! (This helps me know how much interest there is in each movie)

2023-06-07 22:12:13 +0000 UTCBonnie and Clyde is a masterpiece! And hugely influential in terms of film history

2023-06-06 19:22:35 +0000 UTCI just think it's sad this will be her only exposure to Douglas Adams. (Assuming it is.) I'll only be able to watch the opening minutes of her reaction. Because I do like the dolphin musical number. Despite the "man and mammal" line as if we're not also mammals. (Had he lived, Adams would never have allowed that mistake.)

2023-06-06 16:59:12 +0000 UTCI dunno... the novels are pretty different from the radio play & bbc miniseries, and Adams did have designs on the feature movie albeit he died before it was made obviously. Not sure there's any harm in enjoying it has yet-another-incarnation of the franchise :)

2023-06-06 14:53:30 +0000 UTCAlso, while I'm in a scolding mode, how can fans of ZAZ with Airplane! and The Naked Gun! not also love Top Secret! ? (Sorry, the movie had an exclamation mark so I had to space out my question mark.) Airplane > Top Secret > first episode of Police Squad > The Naked Gun
Michael Butler
2023-06-06 12:59:58 +0000 UTCSo it's going to be the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005) adaptation. My Lord... how can actual fans of Adams vote for this? Forget Jen (sorry Jen!)... I implore the 82 people who voted for it to read the novels or listen to the original radio series. The movie is a really, really (can I legally type really more than twice?) poor adaptation of the source material. The source material being beyond awesome.

2023-06-06 12:36:23 +0000 UTCAll I'm going to say about the poll, EARSERHEAD - although a very exceptional horror movie it not for everyone, imagery is very mind numbing at times

2023-06-05 07:31:43 +0000 UTCBonnie and Clyde changed film. In fact more than one critic has labeled it the film that signaled the death of "old" classic Hollywood and the arrival of the non Hays code "new" Hollywood.

2023-06-05 05:33:37 +0000 UTCNot alone! It's one of my favorite movies, and I agree it's really underrated for such a fantastic story.

2023-06-05 02:45:39 +0000 UTCI maintain A.I. is a criminally underrated film, but I know I’m dying pretty much all alone on this hill.

2023-06-04 23:44:21 +0000 UTCA poll of David Lynch films would be something: Eraserhead The Elephant Man Dune (1984) Blue Velvet Wild At Heart Mulholland Drive Personally, I think Jen would love Dune. And it would be a great reaction. And I was awed by Blue Velvet!

2023-06-04 22:50:59 +0000 UTCThis is kind of a tough poll. I voted for Eraserhead. It is a great movie but I don’t really think it is the best entry to Lynch’s films. I’d suggest Blue Velvet as a better starting place.

2023-06-04 22:27:47 +0000 UTCEraserhead would have been an awesome watch. I voted for it. Any movie by David Lynch would be interesting to see Jen react to. Mulholland Drive is also a must watch.
