This one was soooo goooood!!!! Amazing bad guy, great stunts, killer music, a double cross + even a love story! I reeeally got hyped for this one, here's an actual quote from my reaction: "Fuck!-- I mean-- Shit!-- Sorry-- Goddam!"

Please continue with this series of movies. Not a fan of the first three. They get 1000 times better after the third one. Part 5 is a blast and my favorite of the series.

2023-05-16 02:03:39 +0000 UTCThe series really does take off with this one. All of the sequels to this are a lot of fun, though my personal favorite is #5(Rogue Nation). No plot spoilers, but I think it has the best combination of big action and twisty spy stuff.

2023-05-14 16:52:54 +0000 UTCThis is definitely where they figured out what kind of movies they wanted to the future of the franchise to be like. At the time, that opening was something J.J. Abrams did a lot in the series "Alias". If you have never seen "Alias" you should check it out. Laurence Fishburne was amazing in this. His deliveries were spot on. And great writing for his lines. And Philip Seymoure Hoffman was an incredible villain. He was a great loss to the actor world. RIP At the end, when they kept doing the close ups on Julia, and she seemed so calm, I was just sure it was going to turn out she was a spy as well, and would do something to save them. I am glad they didn't though. :D

You mentioned you recognized Simon Pegg from Shaun of the Dead, thats another highly anticipated reaction! 😁 Another "lets recover an item from inside a case" movie I can recommend is 1998's Ronin!
