Nice beaver.

Lollll well now I've seen Leslie Neilson in all his glory and it was such a silly fun time!! Man he was a bad cop, but a loveable one! I'm pretty sure there is a sequel to this, is it worth checking out?

The Naked Gun (1988) Full Length Reaction

that was priscilla Presley, ex wife of Elvis

Top class goofy fun. 😂 Detective Drebin is pretty much America's Inspector Clouseau. As others have said in the comments; the Naked Gun films were preceded by an excellent 1982 tv series with Drebin called 'Police Squad!' (in color). It's still very good.

Jason Scade

Absolutely love this movie. I was smiling throughout the entire film. I watched all 6 episodes of Police Squad! when it aired and was bummed out when they cancelled it. Always been my type of humor. The 2 sequels are definitely worth a watch. You're right about watching these over again. You can catch jokes you may have missed. During the baseball scenes there were a handful of actual players. The broadcasters were actual broadcasters but from different sports. As an L.A. native I also have to mention it was an Angels home game but takes place in Dodger stadium.

Robert Avila

In a word: "Khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnn!!!!!" - Bill S. A few notable baseball movies: Field of Dreams (an iconic line), The Natural (an iconic score) and Major League for silly fun. Also the baseball player who was trying to kill the Queen was a very famous player back in the day named Reggie Jackson. He was so good when the games mattered the most, namely in the playoffs, he earned the nickname "Mr. October."

Andrew Roach

The actor, Ricardo Mantalban, actually has trouble walking, so you usually only see him taking a couple steps or just sitting or standing in movies/t.v. shows he is in. Later in his life, in one of the Spy Kids movies, his character was in a wheelchair the whole movie.

Yes, Love the film series. I've watched it too many times to count. Watch the whole trilogy, you won't regret it. "He's got a 50/50 precent chance of surviving, though there's only a 10% chance of that." I want to point out a settle gag that you managed to catch on your first watch that took me YEARS to even notice. Where he walks AROUND the set wall into the next room instead of using the door like the other two folks did. LOL If you're interested, as other's mentioned, I also recommend you watch the 6 episode TV series this movie trilogy was from. Police Squad! I also recommend you watch the Hot Shots! movies. The first one spoofs Top-Gun while the sequel you should watch after watching a couple other movies you haven't yet reacted to like Dances with Wolves and Rambo II & III. Loaded Weapon 1 is a parody of the Lethal Weapon series. I recommend that parody. The films, Airplane!, Naked Gun trilogy, Hotshots! 1 and 2, as well as Loaded Weapon 1 had the same principal writers so I certain you'd enjoy them, too. Enjoyed this reaction. Glad you enjoyed the film.

Todd Preble

Hahaha! Up to his old tricks the devilishly cunning Khhhhaaaann!!!!!

Jeremy Vickers

My father and I watched all 6 episodes of Police Squad! when it was on t.v., and we loved them. They had a funny gag each episode where they would present a special guest star, like William Shatner, and then kill off the guest star as they present them, so they would not actually be in the episode, just in the start when they were presented. :D I was so pumped when I saw the trailer for this movie in the theater, because watching the t.v. show with my father was such a good time and good memory. And the movie did not fail to entertain. I still laugh just as hard today, after seeing it about 40 times, and that end with O.J. rolling down the stairs and flying off his wheelchair still makes me bust out laughing. :D

Vwlss Nvwls

Ya I honestly didn't recognize him. He didn't have the same hair as Khan lol

Jen M

Austin Powers will be after the Brosnans!

Jen M

Enjoyed this reaction. I’m looking forward to the Austin Powers series. Do you know when they are scheduled? I hope you don’t wait until the Bond series is finished. The references end with Roger Moore. You could do them on weeks you don’t do Bond.

Richard Meacham

I think you missed that the bad guy had played Khan in Star Trek.

Jeremy Vickers

“Are there any baseball movies I should watch?” The Pride of the Yankees (1942) The Stratton Story (1949) Take Me Out to the Ball Game (1949) It Happens Every Spring (1949)
Angels in the Outfield (1951) Bang the Drum Slowly (1973) The Bad News Bears (1976) The Natural (1984)

Dean J

"Having your nuts bit off by a Laplander..." I've actually seen that movie! What a weird, obscure reference. I'm surprised the filmmakers saw that movie ... and that I saw that movie.

Dean J

Last year I got to go see "Weird Al" Yankovic when he came to perform at Graceland in Memphis (ironic with the Priscilla Presley connection in this). Because I got VIP, I was able to see him in person briefly and he was an extremely nice, sweet guy.

Zack Parks

Really looking forward to watching this tonight! Did you recognize the villain as the same actor who played Khan in Space Seed?

David Crabtree

Both sequels are definitely worth seeing!

David Crabtree

I forgot Ricardo Montalbán was in this, AKA, khan Noonien Singh! I'm only at 24mins in, so wondering if you'll realise later on.

Daryl

He made 20 bucks talking to that guy on the docks

Tiger Chu

Yes....there's a sequel. But what about checking out "Hot Shots"? A great parody of dozens of movies (e.g. Top Gun). 😉

Matt B.

Oh what??? How did i just notice this?? Setting up my dvd right now 😆 Also, both Hot Shots (mainly a Top Gun Spoof) and Hot Shots Part Deux (mainly a Rambo: First Blood Part II spoof) are worth the watch if you want some comedic shenanigans later down the line 😁

Carlos Perez

Yep, the sequels are both very good.

Eric Denney

Leslie Nielsen. Truly a one-of-a-kind treasure. There will NEVER be another like him. He's making the angles laugh right now. The entire trilogy is gold!

Evan

Love Leslie Nielson's deadpan humor very 80's!♡

Celeste McAllister

I third it. Both sequels are worthwhile

Joseph Krider

In a word? Yes.. Yes they are..

Mark Fararh - The Tired Smoker

And yes, BOTH sequels are worth it.

Nerd Jared

Yup, both sequels are worth it

Peter MacColeman
