I'm so glad I've finally seen this iconic comedy! I'm positive there are bits that I missed or wouldn't know the references to pick up but I still found lots to laugh at in this! I lovvved the way the story was constructed, all the layers and the amazing ending! This is one of those that you need to watch more than once to pick up all the jokes. I know there are sequels, any interest in checking them out?

My favorite movie! Never fails to make me laugh. “Monty pythons flying circus” is also my favorite show, defiantly worthy of reactions down the road.

I'd recommend 'The Adventures of Baron Munchausen' (1988) - a wild fantasy adventure set in the 18th century based on the preposterous claims and tall tales of a retired nobleman/soldier.

Life of Brian, Meaning of Life, and even most of their TV episodes of "Monty Python's Flying Circus" which ran for 4 seasons with 13 episodes each, except for the final season which only had 6 and wasn't very good.

Michael Palin came up with the idea and skip around aided by the sound effect of coconuts banging together (non-migratory coconuts, of course). In fact, the low budget was the reason for the abrupt ending. They just simply ran out of money and came up with that ending. LOL
