Bondy #5! Hands down the BEST villain's lair I've ever seen! Worth watching just for that! I dunno if Connery's heart was in it like in the first few but seeing Number 1 and that lair was more than enough for me!! 😆😆
Actually so curious what another actor playing Bond will be like! Shall we continue on to OHMSS?

You're quickly becoming my weekend Bondie viewing, Jen 😃. Again not one of my favs of the franchise but I was having a blast watching along with you!! The movie gets a little silly once Connery turns Japenese 🤨 but I think you've definitely helped it climb in my ranking slightly. And you were summoning your inner Number 1 at the end there lol. Your cat is supercute 😻

Moore turned the character into a clown, too campy and Moore didn't ever seem coordinated, Moore comes off as being physically uncoordinated and stiff. And finally these movies had the dumbest villians

More casual fans or moviegoers have split reactions, finding the story among the best, but find Lazenby to be nowhere near as cool as Connery. The great thing about the Bond series is that every actor has a different style and the producers try to change up the tone from each era. Overgeneralizing, but you have Connery as the O.G. cool spy, Moore the funny charming over the top Bond, Dalton the serious true to the novels Bond, Brosnan the action hero Bond blending funny, serious, and cool; and Craig, the modern rugged gritty Bond

You’ve been fortunate enough to binge them all the rest of us had to wait for the next bond movie to come out… So yes your ranking would be fascinating to hear. OMG I was voice to texting this when my golden doodle Oliver started crying in his sleep with a nightmare so it typed out me waking him up and soothing him.🤣🤣 He is still a baby. Lol

They mostly film on location, and you're seeing parts of Japan as it was in that time. Also, originally the roles of the two Japanese girls in this movie were reversed. Aki was supposed to be the wife, but due to Mie Hama's difficulty in learning English, they swapped roles.
