Bondy is back again! And this time there's not only a diabolical villain, a few gorgeous dames + a charming Moneypenny, there's a heist, a laser, a killer hat, a golden gun, a shiny vault, countdowns, unexpected explosions, a tricked-out car + a KILLER score! This was a hella fun ride! ๐
Thunderball next or should I move on to On Her Majesty's Secret Service or maybe Live and Let Die? Should I do a poll?

Goldfinger ,is there a more iconic Bond film really !! and i do see how it really is the blue print for the BOND films to come that slimy warthog of a villain Goldfinger The Flying Hat an awesome Bond girl, the iconic Aston Martin and a bomb countdown what more could i ask for ? loving the Classic Bond journey with Jenny Penny : )

Although has a few funny plotholes...like why go to all the effort of creating a Fort Knox model and all the elaborate explanation of the plan to the hoodlums, if you're just gonna kill them straight after ๐. Can let all that silly stuff slide though as its a truly Mount Rushmore of a Bond film. But sadly flying over Newfoundland is the closest 007 will ever get to Canada ๐ข. But I do love watching you take them in your usual wonderful stride. Not too seriously and with plenty of appreciate and reverence for the tropes. That's their charm for me personally. I did have a bit of a giggle attack at one point. This was a while after that car went off the road and exploded for no apparent reason, long before it had even fallen down the cliff edge. Maybe a stunt that was meant to go a different way, I don't know. But it was when the late great Honor Blackman said what her Bond Girl name was. That sound you made that reminded me of a Chandler moment. https://youtu.be/Z1_VS-cOWkI For a reason I can't fathom, it tickled that funny bone and I spend the next 5 mins wheezing like Muttley from Wacky Races. ๐คฃ It was such a natural response and I absolutely loved it. The factoid you didn't need. ๐ That gold bar you expected might been worth more. Any excuse for the opportunity to use the Internet's inflation calculator, cuz sadly I love doing that. ๐ค Without even taking into consideration the appreciation or depreciation of the value of gold as a factor. Also bearing in mind this is just before the decimalisation of UK currency in the 70's. ๐ง Today that would be nearly 80 thousand ยฃ or 124 thousand dollars. Fun as always Jen.
