It wasn't intentional but I am LOVING everything John Williams does! He is such a prolific genius!

2022-07-07 14:31:43 +0000 UTCI don't know if it was intended this way or not, Jen, but you have been reacting to quite a few movies lately where John Williams provides the original score. Since his compositions for TV shows and movies go all the way back to the 1950's, and one of his most recent projects was the just-concluded Obi Wan Kenobi series, you certainly would have plenty of material for future reactions if you restricted yourself to only movies and series where John Williams provided the music. Star Wars (with music by John Williams) was for several years the highest-grossing movie of all time, until it was surpassed by E.T (with music by John Williams), and E.T held the box office record for a number of years until it was surpassed by Jurassic Park (with music by John Williams).

2022-07-07 02:58:42 +0000 UTC๐ Of course you've heard "E.T. phone home...."before Jen. This was once the highest grossing movie of all time and that was sort of the big line from it. I saw this in the theater in 1982 at age 7. It was the first movie that made me cry that I remember doing it(specifically at the end where everyone is saying goodbye to E.T.). The movie was magic to this 7 year old.
