** SPOILER ALERT **
Well that was quite a movie! The unexpected death really threw me off guys. I know I didn't cry-- I was STUNNED, I couldn't even process it. I kept hoping it wasn't true. Days later I was still thinking about it and wondering if Zoe could possibly have had a happy ending after that 😢
SO, I reached out to a couple people to help me get a bit more closure on the characters I loved!
Stay tuned after the reaction for 2 very special guests who helped me process my grief after that unexpected loss, when I just needed to hear that Zoe would be ok 😢 and that Kaylee gets her happy ending! 😊

2022-02-27 00:13:04 +0000 UTCSerenity/Firefly is just one of those things that everyone who watched and worked on love equally, it what makes it special. Love that you reached out to them and they responded so kindly :) To me, Serenity kinda did what the MCU did later on - giving us time (but sadly not enough) to know the characters before the movie really put them in danger. The tension and stakes are so much higher because we've had more hours to fall in love with these characters and the ship. Always have a bit of a lead weight in my chest after watching this film, knowing that this is truly the end (until the next rewatch). Yes that shot at the beginning is so good - they had the money, so they wanted to build the Serenity fully, stem to stern so you could walk through the whole ship without cuts, while (re)introducing all the characters. Just magic. Always a pleasure!
