Firefly Episode 5 Safe (2002) Full Length Reaction
Added 2021-12-09 23:11:27 +0000 UTCI was just saying I was hoping for a River episode + here we go! Of course, she's still quite mysterious but I'm glad we got to see a little more of her gifts in this episode.
Even more importantly we got to see the Serenity crew coming to River + Simon's rescue, as well as saving Shephard by going to the Alliance! I'm loving how this crew is fighting for each other now + they are really bonding :)
Can't wait to see more! I continued the binge + watched Episode 6 right after this one, so I will post that very soon!

I also haven't seen Suicide Squad, but I have seen Birds of Prey and The Suicide Squad, and I recommend both.

2021-12-18 04:12:48 +0000 UTCJayne is a good character in a similar way to how Harley Quinn is a good character. He serves his place in the story very well, but never, ever, take him as a role model, and if you ever feel identified with him, then it's time for some heavy introspection.

2021-12-10 18:44:56 +0000 UTCAwesome react Jen! I understand your frustration about the mysteries surrounding River but, without spoiling anything, you'll learn a lot about her. It just takes a bit more time with her. I also understand your frustration with Jayne. The first time through the show I wasn't the biggest fan either because he really is a just-in-it-for-himself mercenary. But, the more I've watched the show the more I like him because he really adds a special dynamic to the crew that offsets a sometimes almost blind allegiance to Mal. While he isn't my favorite firefly character the crew(and show) wouldn't be what it is if he weren't there. I really am looking forward to episode 6! We are starting to get to some of the truly great episodes!
