I've seen a few adaptations of Robin Hood, but this was a new take on Robin's origin story!
Lots of handsome men in this one lol + I do love some good archery :)
I did film this one later in the day, the sun set while I was watching, so I switched to lights halfway through. Not ideal but it worked lol!

The Disney version was my absolute favourite movie as a kid! My first crush was Robin Hood the fox lol 🥰 I used to put a pillow case on my head and pretend to be Maid Mairan 😆

2022-04-17 16:36:35 +0000 UTCI don't know. This one didn't do it for me. I'd never seen it before, watching for the first time along with you, and despite its stylized look, it all felt very generic. That being said, still had fun watching along with you. I'm also a big fan of the Robin Hood legend. P.S. Robin as a soldier during the Crusades has actually carried over from all of the Robin Hood retellings, at least all of them that I've seen. It's briefly mentioned during the Disney movie (at least in terms of King Richard's absence from the throne), it's where Robin meets the Morgan Freeman character (as prisoners) during Prince of thieves. It plays a big part in the Russell Crowe/Ridley Scott remake (too big a part in my opinion). Anyway, not a big deal, I only mention it because maybe it's been a while since you've seen them and you should rewatch for the channel ;). At least the Disney version.
