Yeah I watched a 27 minute full series/movie recap, it was worth it :P Brutal is a great way to put it! This is the anti-waku :/ Oh maybe that's where I recognized the VA from! Oh I know, the opening was so powerful and I feel bad for Yuji! I'm so glad Maki even survived! Yeah I guess they're brothers now lol?! Ok cool, glad I wasn't imagining things with Rika! Hahaha Yuji got killed again, must be a Tuesday :P Love the use of yare yare here! Right, Yuji wasn't even the real target here. Ohhh ok, thanks for clarifying about Tokyo! LOL here's hoping for a real chill season of Frieren :P

2026-01-11 21:33:15 +0000 UTCI was about to say, yes, you should watch them together - but I see youâve taken care of that already. I learned my lesson during the last season, so this time I did a ârefresherâ by skipping through with someone elseâs reactions, (I didnât have time to rewatch everything) - but I hope it gives me a better grasp. I didnât enjoy being as confused as I was trying to remember every little detail. Also, someone asked the author about his philosophy about âendingâ characters after last season - the word you are looking to describe it is um, BRUTAL? đ Anyway, this will make you feel warm and fuzzy - apparently the response he gave was that âcharacter deaths only resonate when they are people that the audience cares about.â WAKU WAKU (but the opposite.) Naoya (the Zenâin guy) - is voiced by Lau from Black Butler, probably the best reference I can give you. He was also Kuradeel in SAO. (Trust me you didnât like him.) The opening shot of Yuji trying to wash his hands is a clever metaphor for him trying to clean his hands of everything that just happened, but he feels responsible - no matter how hard he scrubs, thereâs more blood. Maki is in bad shape, I believe she got burned by Jogo before Sukuna took him out. Itâs the same attack that took out the Zenâin clan head, if I remember correctly. Choso seems to have detected a kinship with Yuji but we donât know what it is - but something involving Noritoshi (the curse occupying Getoâs body) is apparently linked to both of them somehow. Choso is able to discern this, however, Yuji knows nothing of it. Yuta did indeed release Rika at the end of the film, so I donât know why sheâs still here. Thatâs one of those things that theyâre probably not explaining right away. Oh look, Yuji was killed again. Yare yare. Itâs always âsomethingâ on this show, but how are we going to solve this? Letâs not forget Naoya is trying to kill Megumi, either⊠Iâd usually say, âwhat nextâ? But I know this show too well. Oh! Tokyoâs basically been evacuated after the Shibuya Incident events. Everyoneâs moved to other parts of the country, and people are reporting curses only appear in Tokyo, so thatâs why the townâs in its current state. Youâve seen Episode 2 so I will cut it off here. :) (In future weeks, maybe Frieren will be a good medicine after this show⊠đ )
