Feb 15 - The Other Day
Added 2023-02-16 17:19:48 +0000 UTCThis week, I polled Twitch chat for a genre and we went with Liquid DnB. It's been awhile since I've purposely written some DnB, so it was fun to return to. After a drum beat, I wrote some chords and a basic melody and added a few more layers.
I tried adding more, but the song just felt too busy. It's a bit simplistic and certainly needs more detail and complexity in the types of sounds... but I do like the emotion of it. I think a vocal would really round out this type of song nicely (similar to Introspect). Is this vibe something you enjoy? And do you like the DnB ideas? - let me know in the comments :)

Yesss, liquid DnB! This is so good! I started listening to it then tabbed out to work on some stuff then was surprised when it ended so soon. I totally forgot that this is a WIP. Incredible vibe when the piano top melodic comes in. The ideas here have extremely strong merit and I really hope you finish this one!
